You don't have to create a 'dummy' household, to be able to access the world map. You can now skip this initial thing, and select any pre-made family to play with, if you want.

I've seen numerous Sims 4 players asking in various forums, if it's possible to access the world map, and play a pre-made built-in family, as in the Sims 3, without going through CAS first. The answer is no. But with this empty save customized by Me, you can do it now. When you load this savegame, you won't have an active or dummy household, but you can immediately access the world map, and so you can start playing with pre-made families directly from the world map, without having to enter CAS first (and create a dummy household).
This is a customized savegame. It only requires the Base Game. Unpack the ZIP, and move the SAVE file to the Sims 4 saves directory (ie. 'My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves'). Then, you can directly Load Game, and start playing as you wish.
