Better Buildings Mod
This mod limits the amount of buildings you can create but makes them more efficient in output and storage. I noticed a bit of slowdown in the late game and I thought it was probably from the amount of buildings I made. So this mod is for people that enjoy a smaller HQ and better outposts.
Main Buildings limited:
- Factory = 1
- Laboratory = 1
- Communications Hub = 1
You can still upgrade them fully and I've made them output more to balance out the reduction of buildings. Research is better in the early game.
Buildings limited:
- Energy Storage = 8 (8 x Storage)
- Solid Metal Storage = 4 (v1 2000) (v2 x 8000) (v3 x 16000)
- Ai Hub = 4 (v1 x 16) (v2 x 32) (v3 x 64) *Changed in v1.3
- Ammo Storage = 2 (v1 x 6) (v2 x 12) (v3 x 24)
- Tower Ammo Production = 2 (v1 x 8) (v2 x 16) (v3 x 24)
- Plant Biomass Powerplant = 2 (2 x Output)
- Animal Biomass Powerplant = 1 (2 x Output)
I've doubled the energy cost and the material cost of constructing buildings.
All Defence Towers have 2 x Damage!
Because of the Ai Hub limit, I've doubled the damage of every defence tower. But I've also increased the energy cost of each tower to run. All ammo usage costs remain unchanged.
Better Headquarters:
- 4 x Energy Storage (80)
- 4 x Material Storage (200)
- 8 x Ai (32)
Better Drones:
- 2 x Repair Drones
- Attack Drones have increased range from 25 -> 250 *Changed in v1.3
- Attack Drones have 4 x Damage and 4 x Attack Speed
- Repair Drones repair faster when upgraded
- Repair Drone repair increased
- Repair Drone Tower and Drone range increased from 25 -> 40

- Railguns are now a starting turret
- Increased download speeds of the Communications Hub and Laboratory

Installation
DON'T UNZIP! Just put the "Better Buildings Mod.zip" into "\The Riftbreaker\packs" folder. Easy!
Feel free to adjust the values if you feel it's not balanced for the way you like to play.
(7zip and Notepad ++ is all you need!)
