Sorry for disappearing for so much time, and thanks to everyone, i got truly surprised from your support. And after The Outer Worlds 2 announce, well, i HAD to back to play to 1st chapter, so i made some other tweaks and fixed some errors done in the past.
Mod is fantastic except this one thing, since the gorgon dlc PlayerStatusBarMode=TimedFade and CompanionStatusUIMode=TimedFade no longer function correctly, they just stay on. If I change them to Off or TimedFade they will always revert back to on. If you could find a fix for this I would appreciate it so much !
That is a good thing though? I personally do not need the ammo count up all the time, and i do not see why you would want to. Seeing the count after you shoot is more than enough. That is intended and not a bug.
Thanks for this. I used this mod to guide me to what I wanted to change, which was not everything listed. One thing was strange and may be a bug. I wanted to leave the Medical Inhaler indicator on, but get rid of the TTD display and the Dodge display. If I set AbilityControlUIMode to Off, all three disappear, even if MedicalInhalerUIMode is On. So I left it On, and turned TTDDisplayMode and DodgeDisplayMode to Off. The strange thing is that the 2x plus the little figure remain from dodge remain. Still it's better than it was.
Does anyone know if this is a bug or whether there's another way to remove that little bit?
For some reason the mod does not work for me. I am on pc. Copied files into the right directory and marked it as read only but I get no changes to HUD.
Thanks for posting your settings! I've tweaked these settings a bit and comparing options is always handy.
Beyond On and Off, TimedFade will work on many of the base UI settings. TimeFade results in these aspects of the UI disappearing while not in use and reappearing only as needed. (AKA Autohide) Some fail to work correctly: targeting reticle, companion ability ui, compass, etc. Yet many can be hidden safely based off my current testing: player status, companion status, player ability ui, weapon info (ammo). I'm loving having a functional UI with only the compass there interrupting the screen most the time.
Would it be possible for you to PM me your GameUserSettings file? This sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, but I don't have the understanding to set it up myself.

I hate that bethesda-style mini map on top of the screen. takes away all concentration from the player.
must have 10/10

Hope this helps some, and great work Korayshin.
