1.Check the mod page screenshots for the style you want ex: "nyoka short cropped" 2.Download the "Nyoka - all hairstyles" file from downloads page 3.Open the zip/rar file and extract only the "nyoka short cropped" file to "the outer worlds/indiana/content/paks/~mods/" (create ~mods folder if not there) 4.Open the game, nyoka should have the new hair style 5.Similar steps for others, just change the file and style name, you can install multiple companion ones, just don't install multiple hair styles for the same person.

no, the biggest issue is still not resolved - beards don't work outside the ship.
as for hair color, get asset editor, function extract pak file and extract the assets from the game's paks (pakchunk0/1/15/16 in the paks folder where you put this mod), and then you want to edit the materials for whoever's hair you want to change. example - parvati's hair folder is here Indiana\Content\Art\CHAR\Hair\Parvati\Female and you want to edit the mi_hair and mi_haircap inside. change the vector parameter values here, value1/2/3 (i guess 4 is transparency, i never bothered to mess with it)
?parameterinfo tells you which is hair root, hair tip, (the third vector says tangent, idk what it does, never messed with it) and hair cap which is in the mi_haircap file. get nyxcolours if you want an easy way to figure out the zero to one color values.
save as to a new folder recreating the whole folder structure and file name, exactly as it was extracted. do functions> package folder> pick the indiana folder you made. put new pak in game's pak folder. if problems, reply here or message me on discord twinmoons#2132
bythetwinmoons I have tried that with no joy. I have also tested Max with Afro Tight Beard and Max with Tennyson Beard they not working for me either. I try and update mt game and see if that will fix it.
Strange. You haven’t had any issues with my other mods right? If you’re still using other ones, try removing all of them except the beard one? I’ll take a look at the files again later today, maybe I did something strange when uploading them.
I have kind of got it working, but only seem to work on while on the unreliable. Ive tried going to different locations and the mustache does a runner lol.
PS I notice all the images you posted are on the unreliable. Test it from your side outside the unreliable.
damn, you're right!! i just got off work and tried it on groundbreaker and no mustache. i have no idea why this is! nor do i understand why yours is bald on the unreliable.
back to the drawing board! hopefully i can figure out the problem..
Well you tried I'm not sure what special in the unreliable areas of the game. Maybe there more line coding to get Max mustache up in other locations? My Max is bald from using a different mod.

Seems safe to use, but I'd add them one or two at a time, just in case there's a problem. That way it's easy to troubleshoot.

For some reason i just cannot get the Max with Info Broker Beard to work.
Otherwise, is it just that one that won’t work or any of them?
