About this mod
Removes Restrictions On Saseka and Spring Creek Plaques and Stands
- Permissions and credits
Special thanks to LukeJC for making this newest update possible!
Please note that this is my first mod, and as such please back up your game just in case something goes wrong. But apart from some lag I haven't encountered any crashes!
If this mod stops working, the game probably updated and broke something. I'll do my best to fix if that occurs! If it was a new update that added new multimounts, remove the hybrid_mount_recipes.bin file from the mod's settings->hp settings folder as a temporary fix. This mod will not continue to be maintained if EW puts out a suitable trophy lodge update that can replace this.
To Install:
If you've never installed a COTW mod before, go to your steam library, right-click Call of the Wild on the left side list, hover over Manage, and open the file location. Open your downloads folder separately, right click the downloaded anymountanywhere file, and extract it with either your computer's built-in extractor(if applicable) or a third party program like 7-zip or winrar if you don't see the option. From the unzipped file, drag dropzone to the COTW folder you just opened(SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\theHunterCotW), and plonk it in. NOW, back in your Steam library, right click COTW again and select properties. In the Launch Options, paste this line of text, period included:
--vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive dlc_win64 --vfs-fs .
Close up shop, and boot her up.
If you've already downloaded COTW mods you probably know the drill.
Have fun!
Known Issues:
- *Layton Lake trophy lodge is not compatible due to the animal restrictions.
- Sometimes when trying to remove a multimount from a stand, the mount will delete and return to your inventory but still visually be placed("ghosting"). Going to a reserve then back into the lodge fixes this.
- Some alternate gender mounts look odd-- antlers not in the correct position, weird facial expressions, etc. This is because they're still using the other gender's skeleton/textures. I don't believe there's a quick and easy fix.
