Could you kindly tell me which software I can use to modify values in *.ammotunec and .ee files? I want to change 10ga (and may be 12ga) buckshot to also cover type 3?
Yes, I know. With me, 12ga does not give problems but I understand there are several people who have the same problem. I have no idea how that comes about.
There are several people having the same problem however I have tested the ammo with both 12ga shotguns that are in the game and I do not experience these problems so I have no idea what is causing the crashes. I also asked my son to test the ammo and no crashes for him either
I tested the ammo on Whitetail with 12ga buckshot. First with the cacciatore 12g, no crash. I also tested the 12ga buckshot with the caversham steward 12g on whitetail and fallow deer no crashes. I had my son test the buckshot the same way and he also didn't experience any crashes. So I really have no idea where the crashes come from.
The problem, at least on my computer, is Caversham 12G. If I have it equipped or try to reload it with some other ammo, the game will crash to desktop. Nordin 20SA works great. Haven't tried others yet.
Do run any other mods besides the buckshot mod? I am not saying that other mods are the promblem but I find it strange that on my computer it runs without crashes for more then a year. I play the game with quite a few mods and the game never crashses.
Can you tell me what the mod Show Hands does? I know a year or more ago there was a problem with a mod that made you move faster, when you used that mod you couldn't see your hands. I don't see an update on this mod on nexus
Okay thanks that might explain why it wasn't working. edit' i am getting crashed on game startup, furthest i could make it was into a reserve and crashed after going to change loadout. I'm not sure why. i can get mod builder to work no problem so I'm not sure why this isn't working for me. (i am launching with your mod only)
