NOTES:
If you have any existing mods that modify the global/global_animal_types.blo file, then that may affect you seeing all the fur types correctly.
I have already loaded a Cuatro Colinas reserve mod for Red Deer Great Ones and Layton Lakes District reserve mod for Moose, Black Bears, and Whitetail Deer Great Ones..
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Stop the game if you are currently using it.
- Back up your existing New England Mountains reserve population file "animal_population_14" if you have one. On Windows this is located on a path similar to "C:\Users\{USERNAME}\Documents\Avalanche Studios\COTW\Saves\{RANDOM NUMBER}", where you replace USERNAME with your OS user, and you replace RANDOM_NUMBER with whatever long number COTW created for you.
- Place the "animal_population_14" file from this mod in the same location, which replaces the New England Mountains reserve animal population.
- Launch the game, and pick the New England Mountains reserve. You should now have an easy time finding all kinds of Great Ones.
