About this mod
Adds haptic effects for "The Forest VR" in the bhaptics Tactsuit models and Tactosy for arms and hands. Effects include heartbeat on low health, bumping into things, chopping, diving, freezing, burning, rain, and getting hit. This mod only works for the VR version of the game.

This mod communicates with the bhaptics gear when certain events are detected in "The Forest VR" to give you haptic feedback. These are some of the currently implemented haptic effects:

Requirements
- MelonLoader https://melonwiki.xyz/
If the game does not start up after MelonLoader installation, you can try using version 0.5.7, which seems to work more reliably.
Installation
- Download and install MelonLoader (and the requirements for it if needed) into the game's directory. By default, this will be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Forest\TheForestVR.exe", you might have to adjust the first part of the path.
- Download and extract the zip file of this mod into the "Mods" subdirectory of your game directory (see above).
- Run the script "Unstrip_system_libraries.bat" in the Mods directory. You might be warned by Windows that it is of unknown origin, then you will have to click on "More info" and "Run anyways". If you are unsure what it does, you can just open the script in an editor and take a look. It simply copies the flatscreen versions of some system libraries into the VR game, because they were hollowed out for it, and MelonLoader won't launch this way.
- You are done, just start the bhaptics Player and then the game how you normally would.
