Just a small mod adding a new merfolk to the seas and pearls as rare loot drops from them.
If you're going to update to this version and you use Yarrr Be Pirates then you should just remove this mod and use Yarrr Be Pirates instead.

Hopefully fixed the error seen when fighting merfolk in a mental challenge.

One merfolk enemy showing off 11 female and 7 male artworks.
Larger groups of merfolk can be found keeping sea creatures as loyal pets.
Each merfolk as a small 10% chance of dropping a pearl. Pearls can't be used in building/equipment construction but being a rare item they have a value of 1000 making them great for trade.
Now with the ability to recruit a single merfolk on the seas. Watch for the difficulty 4 event called Prisoner.
Installing and Updating:
Just extract the downloaded *.rar file into your Thea 2: The Shattering mod folder located at:
Thea 2 The Shattering\Thea2_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods
Once extracted here start your game and choose Mods from the main menu.
Activate the mod from the list and then restart your game.
Once the game has restarted you must start a new game. Failure to start a new game will result a number of potential errors.

Yes, due to the addition of a new resource a new game is needed to use the mod.
Can this mod be used in Co-op games?
Yes it can. All players participating in the game will need to have this mod active.
All credit goes to MuHa Games for making Thea 2: The Shattering the amazing game that it is and the artists whose artwork has made these animals possible.
Inside the mod folder is a "Credits - Artists.rtf" crediting as many artists as possible whose artworks are used in this mod.
