You can also find the mod on Steam Workshop.

If you just checked out this mod, read bellow for a brief description of It.

The TerraGuardians mod adds companions to the game, whose can also live in your world as town npcs.

Initially, the mod were only going to add the type of companions the mod name is based on, the TerraGuardians, which are a mix of human with animal creatures, whose came from the Ether Realm. But people were also wanting Terrarian companions, so I'm also adding them.

The TerraGuardians mod is an enhanced version of the NPPlayers system from N Terraria mod, and in my opinion, a major improvement to It.

This video is placed on the mod page on Terraria Community Forums, It is already dated since a lot of things changed on the mod, but It already gives an idea of how the companions works.

Upon entering the world, you will find one of the companions on the spawn of the world, as you play the mod, you can also find new companions you can recruit. The Dryad will give you clues on the companions you can find, and possibly how you can get them to live in your world.

As the mod updates, I may try improving the internal lore the mod has, even more since you guys probably will want to meet the Ether Realm.

Do notice that you can have up to 10 companion npcs living in the world.

You will need tModLoader to run the mod.
