I made a simple mod that changes a few thing to make the game more fun for myself. Thought about posting it here seeing it is commonly discussed in the forum.
It does a few things, First, it changes the camera zoom to allow much more freedom. Second, it changes weapons with low caliber ammo to not auto attack medium and heavy armor. Third, it allows destroyed units to stay on the map for much longer. Lastly, it adds a supply circle to almost all vehicle with supply to reduce micromanagement.
Let me know if there is any bugs. Cheers.
Installation:
It require a little work on the user's end to work.
1: Extract basis.pak into basis in root game directory then delete from the directory after making a backup. Overwrite if necessary.

2: Make a backup of the scripts folder inside of the extracted basis folder.
3: Extract the content of the mod into the root game directory and replace.
done!
FAQs
1. Do I need to extract the whole basis.pak?
It crashes on me if otherwise. But if it works, it works.
2. Can you make update for beta patch?
Theoretically, the mod should work for future versions unless those files are modified in a patch. For example, if a new unit was added.
