How to install mods for Tales of arise (PC) (Steam)

way 1
To install mods for tales of arise go to your steam game right click your game go to properties, go to local files, click browse then the explorer will open after that go inside the folder Arise then go inside the folder content after that go inside the folder Paks when your in Paks make a new file called ~mods paste your mods inside this folder that end with (name).pak.
way 2
1. navigate to your tales of arise folder
2. open the arise folder
3. open the content folder
4. open the pak folder
5. create in the pak folder a folder called ~mods you need to type ~ before mods

you can use this pathway if your game is installed on your C: disk
C:\steam\steamapps\common\Tales of Arise\Arise\Content\Paks

Anyway i did the same steps and created the ~mods folder and placed a mod in it, but the problem my game would crash everytime i reach the main menu and click continue. Any solution for that ?
First attempt was using Vortex to load them in -> deinstalled the mods afterwards as it was not working
Now manually put em in the right ~mods folder but they still not work as intended.
I.e. in the new game the outfit loads when in the outfit menu even though the same outfit was already chosen but not properly loaded (no mod content)
Moving the mouse over the outfits name, it does load as long as I dont quit the menu and everything is as normal as it was.
Any help?
Using vortex' suggested pathway doesnt load the mods properly. I have a basic outfit change for shionnes first basic white outfit but its not loading so I know for sure the mods arent loading in properly.
Greetings and apologies. I too am not seeing the costume mods being applied within the game.I placed the .pak files within D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Tales of Arise\Arise\Content\Paks\~mods
I attempted this with Alphen Speedo, sexy new world trailblazer, and nude Alphen. I tried them standalone and together.
I have all DLC required and can't seem to place where the issue is coming from. I can see that the DLC costumes I have work, but the mods to alter them do not.
Any assistance is deeply appreciated.
