About this mod

A destiny that nerfs you hard on the start with 50% less stats but gives, between other things, fruits that increase those stats by killing cultivators.

First of all, what this mod does, some ranting explaining why I did it like this comes later :P

Makes a Nature Destiny called Asura. It has a 50% to appear in each reroll.

Before we go on, the mod tool divides NPCS in 3 tiers, Normal, Illustrious Ones and Heaven-Chosen. If it isn't stated, the "on-kill" works the same for all of them

To start with, it'll lower your stats by a ton. The cons are:

-50% atk, def, max vit, max energy, max focus, lifespan (months), insight, health, luck, agility, Max Stamina, Travel Speed, Crit, Charisma, All Roots, All Weapon Sats, all Artisanship stats and xp gains. Plus, stuff will be 50% more expensive spirit stone wise on the market, Idk how to increase the rest of the SS costs.

(Yeah, kinda masochistic, but hey, it works :P)
I'll make an optional Nurture Destiny that increases all those stats by 25% until T2, because it's a little too hard, at least on Chaos. And I'll reduce the Agi penalty by 100% until T2 and 50% until T3. Done, does as stated before, with all stats except for agi reduced by 25% until T2, it's more mananageable. Agi's penalty is 0% until T2, 25% until T3 and the full 50% afterwards. After that, I hope you found Agi fruits or it's insanely slow lol. Btw, I'm not using this optional as I didn't even make it yet, and still defeated everything up to the 1st town where, uh, I got my * handed by a cultivator so, yeah. If you want to try it before I make the optional, be my guest. Have in mind it'll be very painful, though :P

Pros are:

+3 to the lowest battle stat (Roots and martials) and lowest artisanship. Btw, yes, it does give talisman too. Srry about that one but when they add them, it'll be already there! :P. This one doesn't help much later on being a flat number but...yeah, you know the story, the rant is at the end.

1 random book at a 10, 30 and 50% chance based on the tier of the NPC. Rarity also based on lvl (Epic, Legendary and Mythic) With random I mean RANDOM, can be of any type and combat stat.

3 bag slots per kill, up to 36

2% lower costs on Markets, up to 90% less costs...which is kinda useless, really, as later on you just swim on SS. This one really was just to make the start harder for myself :P

Aaand we got to the part I hate, the ranting about why comes later.

5 fruit of one of the stats mentioned at first as a negative, which gives the stat as a positive, different for each NPC tier (18x3 of them, the rest I was able to do without) for EACH kill...hey, I made them stackable at least.
Each kill depending on NPC tier gives 18 different fruits, 5 at a time. The fruits give 1%, 3% and 5% of the stat based on the NPC being T1, 2 and 3.

And here I can rant!

before you ask, yeah, I made 18x3=54 new items just cuz I couldn't get %stats from kills...

...well, this one was "interesting". The original idea was to make a mod that nerfed you (done) but at the same time awarded those stats for each NPC kill you did later on (...kinda done).

The problem was that wile the stat slash could be done using %, adding more could only be done with flat numbers (don't ask me why). This translates to me having to make a destiny for each realm and in each destiny an entry for each stat and item I was going to give, twice, per realm. One to maintain the negative and one for the adding of stats, which I'm (yet) not crazy enough to do, to keep the numbers balanced. This is because 1 atk is good at the start, but after you start having like 500 atk by golden core it doesn't really do much. So, I came with the "solution" of making fruits (which can actually give % based stats, go figure) after each kill...the problem being that it bloats the inventory as I had to make 18x3 of them. Plus some books. At least you don't always get the books, and even if you do it's only 1. Plus, it's only 5 fruits per kill...or should be if I didn't * up something on the on-kill loot tables. Get now why I gave so many inv. slots? The major problem will be using fruit by fruit, which will be annoying as *, I have no doubt about that but, this is the best I could come out with on a sleepless night to roleplay a soul sucking cultivator. Ngl, kinda hate how "strong-headed", to say it in a nice way, I can be at times like this, but what can I say? It irked me that there was a % option on stats but not on the on-NPC-kill stats :P

If the devs ever add the option to get %stats from kills, I'll make it with that, and make this one an optional. And if they add it so you can steal a % of the enemy's stats, even better, that one will be the main mod :P.

As an added note, shame on you if you are high lvl and go to the previous regions to masacre ppl. Have some competitive spirit!. This is why a "Steal X% of your oponent's stats" would be amazing lol

CHANGES:

1.1 Asura's Reprieve: It now also decreases the penalty on travel speed like it does on agility. With a ranged skill you can just kill Jagu without much problem, get out and buy a mount, so I didn't notice it, but now I'm playing a melee build and Jagu would leaf my head out of my shoulders, so I was going to farm a couple of cultivators and...couldn't. They all either escaped outright, or I defeated them and then escaped :P.

-----

New versions added to optionals, made to work with romkacg's "Your Soul Is Mine" (https://www.nexusmods.com/taleofimmortal/mods/22?tab=description). This one does away with the fruits (YES!). Only downside is that it doesn't have the Charisma, life span, Agi and Travel speed stuff as it isn't implemented in YSIM, but you can still get books and get cheaper prices on the market with kills. If he ever makes it so you can steal those stats, I'll add them back. You'll need MelonLoader for YSIM. All instructions are on his mod page. NOTE: His mod does have life steal, I downloaded it before he added it and didn't see he updated it :P, mb, I'll see if I can add it later.
