When you kill an enemy, there is only a 10% chance it's allies know about it, going up by 10% each tier, as in, a 10% chance of them to know at T1, a 20% of them to know at T2, etc. Realistically, this goes only to 20% of them not noticing the kill, as we only have content until T8. It's already set so when the devs add T9 and T10, you'll get the version for those lvls already Ts being cultivation levels, btw. (Tiers)
The logic behind it is that as Ts progress there may be some weird items that can magically tell you what (or in our case, who :P) killed someone, or that some random guy has a good concealment skill and tells ppl about what you did or something along those lines, and I can get that. But are you telling me a T1 guy, which was a rogue cultivator btw, in the middle of the * map decided he wanted to steal from me, and I took offense to that so I killed him, and suddenly his entire family and his dog knows that I was the one that did it? yeah, how about no. I didn't make it a flat 0% that they learn about it at all lvls because I do play with a destiny that's getting me stuff from kills, so it would be broken if I went all "killing machine" on every one but...come on, really? how the * did they know?...
Anyway, I'll make a 0% at all times version later just in case anyone wants it, it isn't hard, I'll just put it up with this one as an optional. Forget that, done, took me like 3m now that I knew how to do it :P
