G'Day Tragic here...

.... with this mod for one of my favorite games of all time... Chaos of the Old World. This is more of a "custom
table" than a mod really as almost all the content is taken from the
excellent mod "Chaos of the Old World - Master Edition" by Styx. This is really just my own 4 player table that I use, which is now public!!

Hope you like it..

Have Fun and ROLL EXPLOSIONS!

Special Thanks to Styx
A Big thank you to STYX for his mod "Chaos of the Old World - Master Edition" were the majority of the content for this mod has come from.

Now Includes the Horned Rat Expansion
I have decided to add the Horned Rat Expansion. As I had a small error reported so after loading the mod, I thought.. why not.

Instructions

To use the HORNED RAT PLAYER
Simply click on the ADD HORNED RAT button on the right of the table. Click
Remove button if you do not wish to use the new God. This will place all
the HR components on the table. Including swapping out the Old World
Deck to the correct one that you HAVE to use if you use this God.

Morrslieb Spell and Upgrade Decks
If you wish to use the new "Morrslieb decks". There is a grey bag on the
left of the table. Simply click it and it will swap out the Spell and
new Upgrade Cards. You can click it again to swap back to the CORE set.
If you wish to use a custom mix of core and Morrslieb cards, then you
can find them inside the grey bag to do manually if you wish.

Expert Old World Cards
The small "Expert Old World Cards" module is also on the left of the table.
Simply shuffle this into your OLD WORLD DECK to use. Remember to do this AFTER you choose to use the Horned Rat God.

What is that Trash Bag?

There is a trash bag on the Left of the table. This is just for clean up.
After setup you can drag any components like the Expert Old One Cards or
the Morrslieb bags into it. Personally after I do that I delete the
trash bag. If someone clicks the swap decks button mid game it will
screw everything up. So at least delete it.

Scripting
  • Each player board has a button that will fetch all their own chaos cards from the table with out disturbing anything else and put them in
your discard pile. It will also delete any die on the table.
  • There is a button to load up the Reference Aid from the "Master Edition"
  • There is a button that will load the alternative custom map from BGG as a player aid.
  • There is a button that will swap the main map to a coloured region version. This can be played on, but is really in the mod as a teaching
    aid.

How do I use this mod?
There are few special instruction for this mod, it is self explanatory for the
most part. Though some advanced TTS controls will help you.

Putting Cards into Zones is a pain as there are monsters or tokens in the way!

  • If you place a card on the table, highlight it and press "u". This will
place the card "under" any objects it is sitting on top of. This is a great way to put cards under tokens and models while playing.
  • When it is clean up, simply press the "fetch" button in your player area to move all your played Chaos Cards to your discard.

How do I spin Dials?
  • To use the dials, set your rotation to 30 Degrees (The number in the button bar next to the guy lifting a weight).
  • Now you can simply hover your mouse over the dial (do not pick it up) and press "Q" or "E" to rotate it.

Why are you uploading on Nexus?

GoogleDrive deletes files if they are not used for a while by moving them into the trash. They are still accessible, but as you fill up the drive with "active" files, the older files are automatically pruned... after a few years almost all my mods got broken with 100s if not 1000s of broken links. I was so upset I stopped modding for over a year.

I am now rebuilding my mods and using STEAM CLOUD to host the images. This "should" ensure that the links do not break as long as steam exists.

To be safe though, I am also uploading my mods as I fix them to this site as well as a backup that is independent of any cloud storage, as this site stores the actual mod assets in a downloadable package.

How do I use a TTS mod from Nexus?

I get asked this a lot, so I am now going to add this to the bottom of all my Nexus Mods.

  • You will need TSS Mod Backup @TTSNexus to install this mod.
  • Download the ttsmod file form the file section.
  • Load TTS Mod Backup and click IMPORT BACKUP.

This will add all the assets to you TTS cache folder.

  • Then go to the file section and download the .jason save game file.
  • Copy this to your dave game folder by default this will be...
    "c:\Users\<userName>\Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Saves\"

Now the save is in the save folder, simple load the game and load the save file.

An Alternative way to get the save file is to <Subscribe to the mod on Steam Workshop>. This will add the mod to TTS and you can use it as normal. The thing is if the links to the files ever break and stop working form the Workshop file, you can use TTS Backup to import the mod assets. This should mean that the mod will always and forever be playable.
