The program crashes every time I click on a card name after searching a card. I am running windows 7 64-bit thanks for making this beautiful piece of software.
Turns out there is a deck builder in the games files already and only needs the latest version of Java. Here is a Steam guide how to find it and use it. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=382440329
There is even a dev video on how to work it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ56RjFqnj4
You will have to use Gatherer for the card images now that MTG Image is dead and it will take a bit of extra work but there is nothing stopping anyone from anything. I thank those that made Thundross but it isn't needed anymore and hasn't for a little over a month now.
I've had issues with this crashing whenever it tried to pull a card image. Program starts up fine, list of cards looks correct, info on the cards (as far as what printings there were) also looks fine. But my card image folder is empty and I get an immediate crash upon selecting a card, which is likely when it tries to pull an image from somewhere.
Things I've checked/tried:
- Run as admin - Reinstalled/re-downloaded - Manually downloaded the JSON files - Running .NET 4.5
I'm currently running Win7 64 bit on an i7 930 with more than enough RAM and HDD space to support this.
Well, I can't download this, Says it times out every time I try, that being said at this time, it is updated -in the future- in this coming august. .... Nevermind, >.< I derped, but it's still timing out, future or not.
This is a fantastic tool. Downloaded it and played around with it a little, some friends and I are gonna get together and use it as a way to do a 6 man draft (probably using one of the bigger poker tables, maybe 1 match at a time, we'll see). But I'd like to make a suggestion: Add a standard card back to each booster file in the 70th slot. Then cards in people's hands won't show up as being just a white backing - that last slot is the image you'll see if a card is face-up in someone's hand. That, and maybe include in the download a standard card back jpg of an appropriate size, so that decks will have a proper backing. I wasn't able to find one offhand on the Gatherer Database itself, and didnt see one included in the tool. While I *could* go find one online somewhere, resize it, and add it manually to every booster/deck, then I'd know what was in them, plus its a fair bit of work.
Edit: As an alternative, maybe allow players to set a specific image (automatically scaled) to the card back & hidden card images.
I cant get this to work the images turn out red every time and it makes it impossible to work. The 6.1 version doesn't work either because every time i download it the .exe disappears making this mod completely useless
