Safe to use
Using a surgical unit now costs 100 nanites instead of 5.
System Shock 2 Community Patch (scp) must be activated.
Also for hardcore fans, I recommend:
QBR Breaker
Hard Security Mode
Scary Monsters AI Enhancement
I've repackaged these mods, combined QBR Breaker with Expensive Surgery, and fixed the melee attack bug in Scary Monsters AI.
Now it installs and works with the remaster without any problems (I hope). You can download the archive with these mods in the "Optional files" section.
Installation:
- Unzip ES.rar to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\System Shock 2 Remastered\mods
- Start a new game, activate "Expensive_Surgery" in the mods section
- The mod must be above the scp
