About this mod

Goal is to bring some fresh air for this cult classic in 2024.
IMPORTANT: This REQUIRES System Shock 2 Redux 1.2 mod installed. The mod is a compilation of HD textures, HUD fixes, 3D models and general GFX overhaul

While texture overhaul is a big step up, it requires additional polish - Vanilla friendly ReShade that turns it to 11

Requirements
Permissions and credits
ReSHOCK - ReShade for System Shock 2

What does this do?

- adaptive sharpens the HD textures installed via Redux mod
- preserves colors to keep vanilla feel through the game since it's all about atmosphere
- it does NOT over-use blue spectrum and sharpen as most presets do (too
much sharpening and blue color spectrum will strain your eyes and make
it harder for you to fall asleep)
- in order to compensate for visual presentation, VERY subtle bloom effect is added (NOTE: Godrays MIGHT come via update, I'm testing it as you read this)

INSTALL:

0) download and install System Shock 2 Redux mod (tested on Steam version with Dark Mod Manager) via THIS link
