What is this?
This mod restores all multiplayer functionality for Sword Coast Legends, the game will still boot in to offline mode and throw a warning but multiplayer is fully restored! I tried to do this 2 years ago but eventually stopped because I wasn't making much progress. Picked it up again and this time finally got it up and running.
Installation:
1. Download this mod and unzip it.
2. Go in to your Sword Coast Legends folder -> SwordCoast_Data -> Managed and create a backup of Assembly-CSharp.dll
3. Move the modified Assembly-CSharp.dll file from this mod in to said folder.
4. That's it, the game will still boot in offline mode but all the multiplayer functions are available, just hit player and setup your game, ignore the go online button.
Notes: If you start a new character there is a tutorial that you have to finish first before multiplayer options become available. If you can't see your friends lobby check the lobby filters and set them to worldwide, it defaults to nearby games. Hit cancel search if it's searching endlessly in the lobby menu.
Uninstall:
Delete the modified Assembly-CSharp.dll file and restore your backup.
