  • Some creatures did not have VFXSurface component.
  • Spinner fish and rockgrub did not respawn if killed by player.
  • Seatruck modules did not take crush damage.
  • When prawnsuit jumped from or landed on anything you got particle effects as if it was sand.
  • Lights in seatruck storage, teleporter and docking modules were on even when unpowered.
  • "Exiting cabin" sound played when you stopped piloting seatruck but did not exit it.

  • Creature fleeing now works differently. Now they don't always flee when attacked. Chance to flee is now proportional to their health. If after an attack a creature has 90% health, there is 10% chance it will flee. If it has 10% health, there is 90% chance it will flee. 
  • When in main menu you can use mouse wheel to select next or previous savegame slot.
  • When PDA is open you can use mouse wheel while holding down 'shift' key to select next or previous PDA tab.
  • New key bind to cycle tools in your current quickslot.
  • The tool you are holding in your hand is now saved when you save your game.
  • Bladderfish description now mentions it can be used as source of oxygen.
  • You can break outcrops by hitting them with knife.
  • You can use both repulsion and propulsion cannon to move mobile vehicle bay.
  • You will not deplete your oxygen tank when getting oxygen from air pump.
  • You can open a container when looking at its label. When looking at a container you can change its label.
  • Damage your vehicles deal and take on collision is now more realistic.

Tweaks you can enable in the mod's options menu:

  • "Player speed multiplier": Your swimming, walking and running speed will be multiplied by this.
  • Prawn suit speed multiplier": Your prawn suit's speed will be multiplied by this.
  • Seatruck speed multiplier": Your seatruck's speed will be multiplied by this.
  • Snowfox speed multiplier": Your snowfox's speed will be multiplied by this.
  • "Crafting time multiplier": Crafting time will be multiplied by this when crafting things with fabricator or modification station.
  • "Building time multiplier": Building time will be multiplied by this when using builder tool.
  • "Player movement speed tweaks": Player vertical, backward, sideways movement speed is halved. Any diving suit reduces your speed by 10% on land and in water. Fins reduce your speed by 10% on land. Lightweight high capacity tank reduces your speed by 5%. Every other tank reduces your speed by 10% on both land and water. You can sprint only if moving forward. Seaglide works only if moving forward. When swimming while your PDA is open your movement speed is halved. When swimming while holding a tool in your hand your movement speed is reduced to 70%.
  • "Inventory weight multiplier in water": When it's not 0 and you are swimming you lose 1% of your max speed for every kilo of mass in your inventory multiplied by this.
  • "Inventory weight multiplier on land": When it's not 0 and you are on land you lose 1% of your max speed for every kilo of mass in your inventory multiplied by this.
  • "Snowfox movement tweaks": Snowfox can move on water as good as on land. Its backward and sideways speed is halved. You can boost for as long as you hold the sprint button. When boosting power consumption is doubled. You don't get warm when riding snowfox.
  • "Prawn suit movement tweaks": Prawn suit can not move sideways. No time limit when using thrusters, but they consume twice more power than walking.
  • "Seatruck movement tweaks": Seatruck's vertical, sideways and backward speed is halved. Afterburner is active for as long as you hold the sprint key but consumes twice more power. Horsepower upgrade increases seatruck's speed by 10%. You can install more than 1 Horsepower upgrade."
  • "Can't break outcrop with bare hands": You will have to use a knife to break outcrops or collect resources attached to rock or seabed.
  • "Can't catch fish with bare hands": To catch fish you will have to use propulsion cannon or grav trap.
  • "Realistic oxygen consumption": Vanilla oxygen consumption has 3 levels: depth below 200 meters, depth between 200 and 100 meters, depth between 100 and 0 meters. With this on it will increase in linear progression using 'Crush depth' setting. Oxygen consumption at crush depth will be equal to vanilla max oxygen consumption and it will increase as you dive deeper.
  • "Drop held tool when taking damage": Chance to drop your tool is proportional to amount of damage taken. If you take 30 damage, there is 30% chance you will drop your tool.
  • "Disable tutorial messages": Disable messages that tell you how controls work.
  • "Knife attack range multiplier": Allows you to change knife attack range.
  • "Knife damage multiplier": Allows you to change amount of damage your knife deals.
  • "Catchable fish speed multiplier": Speed of fish that you can catch will be multiplied by this.
  • "Big creature speed multiplier": Speed of creatures that you can't catch will be multiplied by this.
  • "Crush depth": Depth below which player starts taking damage. Does not work if 'Crush damage multiplier' is 0.
  • "Crush damage multiplier": When it's not 0 player takes 1 damage multiplied by this for every meter below crush depth.
  • "Vehicle Crush damage multiplier": When it's not 0 vehicles take 1 damage multiplied by this for every meter below crush depth.
  • "Food decay rate multiplier": Food decay rate will be multiplied by this.
  • "Food tweaks": Raw fish water value is half of its food value. Cooked rotten fish has no food value. Eating outside decreases your warmth. Game has to be reloaded after changing this.
  • "Predators less likely to flee": Predators don't flee when their health is above 50%. When it's not, chance to flee is proportional to their health. The more health they have the less likely they are to flee.
  • "Every creature respawns": Allows every creature to respawn. By default big creatures never respawn.
  • "Turn off lights in your base": Turns off lights in all of your bases.
  • "New hunger system": You don't regenerate health when you are full. You don't lose health when your food or water value is 0. Your food and water values can go as low as -100. When your food or water value is below 0 your movement speed will be reduced proportionally to that value. When either your food or water value is -100 your movement speed will be reduced by 50% and you will start taking hunger damage. Your max food and max water value is 200. The higher your food value above 100 is the less food you get when eating: when your food value is 110 you lose 10% of food, when it's 190 you lose 90%.
  • "Can't eat underwater": You can't eat or drink when swimming underwater.
  • "Tool power consumption multiplier": Amount of power consumed by your tools will be multiplied by this.
  • "Vehicle power consumption multiplier": Amout of power consumed by your vehicles will be multiplied by this.
  • "Base power consumption multiplier": Amout of power consumed by things in your base will be multiplied by this.
  • "Crafted battery charge percent" : Lets you set charge percent for batteries and power cells you craft.
  • "Drop every item when you die": You will drop every item in your inventory when you die.
  • "Oxygen per breath": Oxygen you consume every breath.
  • "First aid kit HP": HP restored by using first aid kit.
  • "Can't use first aid kit underwater": You won't be able to use first aid kit when swimming underwater.
  • "No particles when creature dies": No particles (yellow cloud) will spawn when a creature dies. 
  • "Hunger update interval": Time interval in seconds after which your hunger and thirst update.
  • "Camera bobbing": Camera bobbing when swimming.
  • "Always use best LOD models": A lot of models in the game use different levels of detail depending on how close you are to them. Some of them look different and you can see those objects change as you approach them. With this on best LOD models will always be used. It will affect the game's performance, but with a modern GPU it should not be noticable. The game has to be reloaded after changing this.
  • "Unmanned vehicles can be attacked": Let's you choose whether your vehicles can be attacked or not when you are not piloting them.
  • "Fruit growth time": Time in days it takes a lantern tree fruit, a root pustule, a frost anemone heart, a creepvine seed cluster, a Preston's plant fruit to grow. You have to reload your game after changing this.
  • "Drop pod max power": If this is not 0 your drop pod's max power will be set to this. The game has to be reloaded after changing this.
  • "Free torpedos": Number of torpedos you get when installing Prawn Suit Torpedo Arm.
  • "Only Vehicle upgrade console can craft vehicle upgrades": Fabricator will not be able to craft vehicle upgrades.
  • "Player does not get warm when swimming"
  • "Snowball water value": When you eat a snowball, you will get this amount of water and lose this amount of warmth.
  • "Move the same items key": When you have a container open, hold down this key and click an item to move all items of the same type.
  • "Move all items key": When you have a container open, hold down this key and click an item to move all items.
  • "Only ambient tempterature makes player warm": In vanilla game when you are underwater you get warm if moving and get cold if still. When out of water some areas (caves, your unpowered base) make you warm regardless of ambient tempterature. With this on you get warm only if ambient temperature is above 15°C."
  • "Heat blade cooks fish on kill"
  • "Creatures respawn if killed by player": By default big creatures and leviathans never respawn if killed by player.
  • "Fish respawn time": Time in days it takes small fish to respawn after it was killed or caught.
  • "Big creatures respawn time": Time in days it takes a creature that you can't catch to respawn after it was killed.
  • "Leviathan respawn time": Time in days it takes a leviathan to respawn after it was killed.
  • "Water freeze rate multiplier": Bottled water will freeze at this rate if ambient temperature is below 0 C°. The game has to be reloaded after changing this.
  • "Brinewing freeze damage": When this is not 0 brinewing attack will drain your cold meter by this amount instead of freezing you.
  • damageImpactEffect: "toggles cracks on your swimming mask when you take damage."
  • damageScreenFX: "toggles shader screen effects when you take damage."
  • "Creature flee chance percent": Creature flee chance percent when it's under attack and its flee damage threshold is reached.
  • "CreatureFleeChanceBasedOnHealth": Only creatures's health will be used to decide if it should flee when under attack. Creature with 90% health has 10% chance to flee. Creature with 10% health has 90% chance to flee. This setting overrides both "Creature flee chance percent" and CreatureFleeUseDamageThreshold.


Things you can edit in the mod's config file:

  • "startingLoot" allows you to change items you find in your drop pod when you start new game. The format is: item ID followed by number of items.
  • "crushDepthEquipment" allows you to make your equipment increase your crush depth. The format is: item ID followed by number of meters that will be added to your crush depth.
  • "itemMass" allows you to change mass of pickupable items. The format is: item ID followed by item mass (decimal point number). Here is item ids, names and their mass.
  • "gravTrappable" allows you to make an item be attractable by grav trap. 
  • "medKitHPperSecond"  allows you to edit HP you restore every second after using first aid kit. Can be a decimal point number.
  • "bloodColor" allows you to change the color of creatures' blood. RGB value is a decimal point number from 0 to 1.
  • damageMult_ lets you edit damage multiplier for anything that has HP.
  • If you want to plant 4 melons in a pot: find "fixMelons": true,' line (save your game if you don't have this line) and replace it  with  '"fixMelons": false,'.
  • If you want nuclear reactor to be always silent: find "silentReactor": false,' line (save your game if you don't have this line) and replace it  with  '"silentReactor": true,'.
  • If you don't want plants in planters to have random rotation: find "randomPlantRotation": true,' line (save your game if you don't have this line) and replace it  with  '"randomPlantRotation": false,'.
  • "translatableStrings"  contains text added by this mod. If you play the game not in English, you may wanna translate it.
  • "getWarmTemp" is temperature threshold in C° that makes you warm if you enable "Only ambient tempterature makes player warm" setting.
  • "vehicleTemp" is temperature inside powered vehicle.
  • set "fixCoral" to false to disable table coral changes.
  • set "pdaClock" o false to disable PDA clock.
  • "disableUseText": set this to true to disable text above your quickslots. 
  • "craftWithoutBattery": if true your tools and vehicles will be crafted without batteries in them.
  • "builderPlacingWhenFinishedBuilding": if false your builder tool will exit placing mode when you finish building.
  • "crushDamageScreenEffect":  if false there will be no screen effects when player takes crush damage.
  • "newStorageUI": lets you disable new storage UI.
  • "fishRespawn": if false fish will never respawn. Default is true.
  • "fishRespawnIfKilledByPlayer": if false fish killed by player will never respawn. Default is true.
  • "creaturesRespawn": if false creatures will never respawn. Default is true.
  • "creaturesRespawnIfKilledByPlayer": if false creatures killed by player will never respawn. Default is false.
  • "leviathansRespawn": if false leviathans will never respawn. Default is false.
  • "leviathansRespawnIfKilledByPlayer":  if false leviathans killed by player will never respawn. Default is false.
  • "disableGravityForExosuit": Prawn suit will ignore gravity when you are not piloting it. Use this if your prawn suit falls through the ground.
  • "CreatureFleeUseDamageThreshold": Most creatures have damage threshold that has to be reached before they flee when they take damage. If this is false every creature will flee after it takes any damage.
You should not change any values not described here.

Compatibility with other mods
  • If you are using EasyCraft mod, leave "Base power consumption multiplier" at 1. 
  • Not compatable with Enhanced sleep mod. Your hunger will never increase if you use both mods.
  • Not compatable with More Quick Slots mod.
