I'm probably late by A TON of months, but enough with speaking fluff and let's get on to the possible fix.
I just renamed the dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll and it fixed Subnautica from crashing. I advise you guys to try renaming the dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll too, and see if it works for yourself. You can thank me later.
Besides that problem, this shader is actually working pretty good and it's great! Kudos to InternetsLuitjens for making this beautiful shader!
I installed this and then the game wouldn’t load so I went into the game file and deleted some of the files with the name. This was a mistake. My game won’t load at all. What should I do?
Does this not work any more? I downloaded and tried to run it, but now subnautica doesn't load at all. when I uninstalled the shader, the game ran again.

[EDIT] Ok scratch that. was the minimap mod that was causing the issue

Steam version don't load the shader.
Its a same, i love the color of this shader. My game is less vibrant now.
