Hey, thanks for this mod! Instructions say once this mod is installed you can't load beacons and decoys simultaneously, but with a couple decoy tube upgrade modules installed I can add both beacons and decoys simultaneously. Now I'm kinda scared to use it just in case something breaks... or is this intended behavior?
Actually, sorry, I just double-checked and this is intended it also happens with just one module. It takes the decoy/beacon closest to the bottom of the screen first and prioritizes beacons if there's text in the input box. If you take out one of the modules and can't put beacons in, just take one out and then put it in again
Wanted to give this mod a try but I can't seem to add any beacons to the loading tube inventory. With the upgrade mod installed in the cyclops I am able to drag a beacon into the slots but it won't stay there. It goes back into my own inventory and I also can't deploy any beacons from the driver seat.
I made it thinking that you could drop a beacon in an area with lots of predators and not have to risk getting hurt, but other than that it’s just kind of for the cool factor
I don't think it's useless. It's tedious to get out of the pilot seat, climb down a ladder, exit, deploy a beacon, get back in, climb back up the ladder, and get back in the pilot seat. It's made even more tedious because every one of those actions either takes a second or two or has an animation that also takes a little bit of time (and motion sickness). Then do that all over again when/if you want to deploy another beacon. This mod is useful to remove that tedium.
I only kind of wish it was an alternate function for the decoy tube rather than a replacement.

This is not intended behavior. I don't think something would break from it, but I'll look into it later today.
I’ll look into this when I get the chance. I thought this was fixed but it’s possible it broke when I updated it to Nautilus pre.22
