A save game i worked on in creative. ( if you want survival do (shift + enter for console commands) then type "survival".
it has a couple bases.

(DISCLAIMER, THIS IS NOT CANNON TO REAL GAME LORE. ITS JUST MY FAN THEORY OF WHAT HAPPENED AFTER.
LORE: the aurora crashed, but never exploded.
riley cured the kharaa, but didnt make it to the gun. riley was on his way back on his cyclops, heading from the lost river, when he was ambushed by the ghost leviathans. his ship was torn apart, he escaped in a seamoth. but was caught by a reaper on his way out of the mountains, swallowing him whole. it is unkown if he survived.
during this riley sent an sos to alterra, 18 months after riley ?passed? they bombed the QFP. and destroyed it, rendering it safe for starship travel.
2 months later alterra sent 4 colonial marshal ships.
these 4 ships began the colonization of planet 4546b.
they built 4 main bases. bases, sevastapool habitations, a fauna observatory, ARCHITECT RESEARCH CENTER. and alister security station.
each specialized in a different area, sevastapool was a security, and living area.
the fauna observatory was made to study 4546b's diverse life forms, and is in close proximity to the aurora, the station was attacked by reapers and rendered dangerous, but useable. they used a certain frequency noise to make the leviathan class lifeform not attack the base. rendering it safe yet again.
ARCHITECT RESEARCH CENTER, a small base made for researchers to further their understanding of alien technology, and harvest it.
Alister security station was created in a small island east of what was left of the aurora. it contains advanced scanning and tracking to ensure the safety of all stations.
then, they began the construction of the sites. the
Sites are stronger, but smaller bases. the sites are more of a temporary base, for researchers to rest at, before continuing down into the depths of the planet.
these sites are placed in strategical points of 4546b.
expanding upon multiple biomes. all of which are operational, but empty.
the sites are named, SITE THETA, SITE NOSTROMO, SITE GHOST, AND SITE CRIMSON.
where are the colonizers? welll.
All was going well until, the aurora was detonated by a meteorite, exploding and killing all of the station's crew.
the radiation had seeped.
except you, you were in cryosleep in sevastapool habitations. your cryo-pod malfunctions, and changes your dna to be immune to radiation. after this, it malfunctions again, letting you out.
you plan on making it back to alterra, but you must follow in rileys footsteps in order to escape, the aurora is heavily guarded by reapers, and debris. the only way out is to fully disable the gun and shoot the debris, after that you can get the blueprint for the escape rocket and escape.
