There is no Stranded Deep folder in Documents for Steam version. Correct place to extract to is C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Beam Team Games\Stranded Deep\Data\Maps And then you need to make sure the MAP folder is the one in the folder, not the Fisherman folder than contains the map folder.
sooo idk if this is 100% or not but i just flew around the entire map after adding this one and another island and i only have 1 boss on there. is this common and do i need to restart my game in cartographer in order to make sure my bosses are still going to be there? and is there a way to save my current island with all my progress on it and upload it to another world with all 3 bosses?
Just got this a few days ago, using it for the EGS version 0.90.11.
Map is awesome for starters, thanks. Running into an issue with the fruit/potato plants though. I can see where they are on the islands, but nothing grows on them, ever. I am on day 38 now and have not seen anything grown on any of these plants. Not sure if its the game version or what.
Not sure about the wildlife either. When I initially landed on the island I killed two small pigs and maybe 3-4 snakes. Not sure if that's normal or not. Loot has been plentiful though and overall it's a great map to run around around.
This place is HUGE and a LOT of fun to explore, but be prepared to deal with snakes! I kept saying to myself, "Oh! That's a creative use of that piece!"
