I hate the faction happiness system. The ethics of half the factions directly contradict the other half. Some of them share ethics with other factions, but have diametrically opposed triggers for happy/unhappy. All of which leads to instability and nerfed resources and growth without much ability to do anything about it. Even if you successfully suppress a faction and kill it off, IT FRICKIN COMES BACK and you have to suppress it again. Can't stand this.
So, every trigger for a situation that annoys the members of some faction has been reduced to zero unhappiness. You'll still see numerous yellow dots on the faction display, but they will be creating zero unhappiness.
Known Issue: Three of the factions will still be annoyed if they aren't represented on the council. I deleted this trigger from the only data file that defined it, yet it still happens in-game. I don't know how it is still appearing in-game, but it is. Maybe they hard-coded it into stellaris.exe for some bizarre reason. If anyone knows, please let me in on the secret so I can fix it.
