Hi, if using the newest 2.01 reshade with sweetfx, it is noted to not upgrade the reshade. Just place and play. Reshade was altered to be a standalone in the newer versions and will break the older reshade with sweetfx. There are notes under the old setup for a version update of reshade that still supports reshade with sweetfx, but I have already updated the 2.01 version so you don't need to. If you want to use a reshade version alone, then check the old setup notes and get the settings file from the reshade version. I'll have to make a newer setup video. That 2.0 versions is fine to update, but they are also place and play. Just check the notes for the settings file and that should help.
You don't need to install reshade, the newest files are a place and play version. Do not update the reshade in the reshade with sweetfx version. Although it says update available, reshade does not work with sweetfx in the same way anymore and doing so breaks it. The reshade versions can be updated fine, but the reshade with sweetfx can't. Check the old setup notes if you are trying to do it that way.
If the shaders are not checked, check them off to enable them. I'll recheck the settings when I get a chance. Along the top where it wants the settings file name also make sure that the settings file is selected. https://youtu.be/ebXht1PdDsY This is the original setup vid, goto 7:14 of the vid for ingame setup. Ingame setup is basically the same for both the older version and the newer version. I'll make a new vid for the new setup and post that when I get a chance.
i am unable to locate the 4.6.1 framwork, reshade site only has latest 4.9.1 and your instructions do not work with it. reshade previous versions use to be available if i am correct. sad days for gaming... any suggestions pls?
