This mod adds so much dynamics to fights without making regular character animations look like Buster Keaton movies. Probably wouldn't have had 200+ hours in the game if not for this mod. Huge thanks. Endorsed!
There's an issue with the Fast version that isn't present in the latest version of the main. Some of the downed executions performed with bladed melee weapons do not function, as the animation completes before the kill is confirmed.
EDIT: It would appear that as of Update 34, this is no longer an issue.
Love this mod! Really helps the combat feel snappier and faster paced without changing weapon stats.
Would it be possible to have a 10% Blunt, 20% Blades, 30% Close Combat version added? That or have versions for each weapon that has standalone changes (though that would make it all a bit messier due to having so many different versions so I completely understand you not wanting to do this method).
What a great mod that changes and improves the experience of melee fight all the time, just wish this mod become the official mechanic of the game. am laughing so hard at some official developer of Sod2 when am send them some feedback on the fighting animation mechanic they do not even notice or respond to my feedback yet, but here you made it thank you mate
I had some issues with this mod. For some times when I'm attacking with a blunt weapon, because of the increased attack speed, my character freezes and it cannot move until a zombie attacks or pounds at him.
The new 5%, 10%, and 15% version is exceptional and superlative. I find that it gives my melee speed a realistic boost without feeling OP, too fast, or out of sync with the vanilla game. lixniquia thank you again for making this requested version! I LOVE it!
