In order to get the MCX Osprey RT to hold 999 ammo I had to edit the gun to hold 499 ammo and the mag to hold 500 ammo. As this gun adds the two values together. The gun in your mod starts with 1,998 instead of 999. This is just a heads up for your next version. Two guns you missed: Arctic Warrior and Spec Ops AW.
I discovered the Reason behind Model 70's to not hold 999 ammo mags, it Was basically one mod in question:
Faster Bolt Actions or QuickBoltRifles.
The mod in question was changing the Whole Object that was the Bolt-Rifles (Ranged Weapons), so that was causing the mod to Substitute the Original Bolt-Rifles from Modified Versions, and that caused your Mod 999 Ammo Mags to not get any effect on those weapons, as they were a Mod too. Since a Mod can't mod another (I think).
After Uninstalling the Mod (QuickBoltRifles, on NexusMods Page located as Faster Bolt Actions) i solved the problem and Am EXPERIENCING the Best from YOUR Mod, with 999 Ammo Mags in All the Weapons i have gotten at the moment.
Yeh that would be it. Because both mods replace the same file. Most weapon mods will conflict with this mod unfortunately, i am working on something you might like though if you like cheatish stuff.
It takes Approximately (more or less) : 0 Hours, 44 Minutes, 57 seconds, 40 miliseconds to RELOADa Full 999 Arrow Clip on Light Crossbow, so avoid UNLOADING those INDIVIDUAL-Reload Weapons. Also, GREAT Mod btw. (Obs.: I combined this AMAZING mod by Smokinkills with the mod "999 Ammo Stack" by Hydra to get to those 999 ammo stacks. ) All credits and Much Respect to both AMAZING CREATORS!!!
AS i can Most CONCLUDE, LOOKS LIKE Reloading Speed (More % or Less %) DOESN'T Affect Arrow RELOADING SPEED. As if it's indeed affecting those, it's not for our well-being (less seconds, instead of more, what is happening indeed).
Also, THXSmokinkills0 or Smokinkills (As You Prefer) for CREATING this Amazing Mod, that i'll most keep downloading new updates to get the BEST EXPERIENCE as Possible from it.
If you prefer, you CAN contact Undead Labs to patch this little issue, that is basically the fact that Arrows don't get affected by Reloading Speed-Skills.
so quick question. once i download the mod and have a pak folder will the mod just like be available or do i need to open a certain thing for it to start reloading until it hits 999?
Yeh just place the .pak into the paks folder and it will be working ingame. You can check it is installed correctly by looking at one of your guns and checking the capacity.
I love this mod as it gives more space to carry other things .. Thanks!!. The only downside i feel is that when buying/scavenging weapons their ammo is usually 999 which makes managing bullets quiet easy specially in Lethal and takes the pain/challenge of conserving bullets. I still love the mod Thanks for your hard work
