MOD INFO

Although the term "Zed" isn't that bad, it never felt quite right. For me at least, it felt like a scientific/futuristic term. The "Zombie" on the other hand, feels more classy to me, and I prefer that, over the "Zed". So here I come with this mod: the "Zeds" have now been renamed into "Zombies", and thus, adding to the game's roleplaying immersion! :-)

Note: this mod does not change how the Freaks are called - the names of the Freaks remain untouched. This mod only changes how the regular, weak zeds are called: Zombies!!

MOD DETAILS

This is a very simple mod, created with Notepad++.
What it does, is to change how the Zeds are being called in State of Decay. All story messages, character dialogs, radio conversations, UI interface notifications, etc, will use the word Zombies instead of the word Zeds.

The messages will be something like:
"Watch! Zombies on your back!" when your ally warns about zombies getting on you from behind,
or: "Be careful with your flashlight. Zombies may be dumb, but even they'll notice if you shine a light right on them." when Alan Gunderson advices you during the Medicines scavenger mission.

MOD REQUIREMENTS

No requirements. This is a standalone mod.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod is fully compatible with any other mods out there! Even with all the overhaul mods, such as George Romero's Overhaul, etc!

INSTALL

Just place the contents to the .../State of Decay/Game Folder.

UNINSTALL

Just remove the contents from the .../State of Decay/Game Folder.

Also, a Walking Dead version of the mod, may be coming soon, which renames the Zeds into "Walkers", to bring more of the Walking Dead's atmosphere to the game, if gamers ask for a such mod.
