I have created and tested that mod with the latest versions of State of Decay and the Breakdown DLC.
You don't have to start a new game.
The archive-file contains an "objects" folder that contains all the modded files for the scavengable environment. You have to unpack the "objects" folder in the "State of Decay/Game" directory.
If you have done it correctly, all the scavengable stuff won't shine anymore and it's a little bit more difficulty to find all searchable places in the area.
If you want to uninstall the mod, just delete the created "objects" folder (NOT the objects.pak).
optional:
If you like to disable the shining effect for the supply (community) locker in the home base, other bases and outposts, you have to unpack the "objects" folder out of the "---optional---" folder to the "State of Decay/Game" folder. If you have done it step by step, you have to overwrite the existing "objects" folder from the first part.
I hope you will enjoy the looking for scavengable stuff in Trumbull Valley.
