Version 1.0
Release. Replaces Yoda's starfighter with the Jedi Interceptor seen in the Jedi: Fallen Order trailer.
Not as clumsy or random as any old starfighter, the Eta-2 Interceptor was a fast, deadly ship designed for dogfighting. Its impressive armament and specifications became even more formidable with a Jedi at the controls, and by the end of the Clone Wars these ships were ubiquitous among the Order.
However, the execution of Order 66 brought a sudden and violent end to the Jedi, and with it, the Eta-2's service. The model became quickly outmoded in favor of the TIE line, which cannibalized several design elements from the Eta-2, including its solar arrays and octagonal cockpit viewport.
After the fall of the Jedi Order, former Padawan Cal Kestis discovered this Eta-2 Interceptor in a decomissioned Venator rusting in the starship graveyards of Bracca. Cal had severed all ties to his Jedi heritage in order to escape the Empire, but facing the sigil of his fallen Order foreshadowed a reckoning with his true nature - and those who would hunt him for it.
