After his defeat on Utapau, Grievous was recovered by Emperor Palpatine in regard to collecting the data saved in his brain with his final battle with Obi Wan Kenobi. Afterwards, when Darth Vader is medically restored and released, he discovered Grievous's remains stowed away.
After collecting the required materials for this operation, Vader drags the remains and materials to his shuttle and heads to Mustafar and begins his work. After having spent hours committing to this new droid, Vader has succeeded with reforging Grievous with a new purpose.
Find Kenobi, add a fine addition to his collection, and bring him to Vader alive.
With new purpose and a seething hatred, Grievous is reborn with an Aurodium(Gold) plated Beskar Body and a blackened heart filled with the dark side.
