Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay Rework is a mod that changes things like the decks or weapons to make them feel more unique/more enjoyable. One of the more major changes is replacing the jump packs with things like the R5D4 or anti infantry turret, to give the game a more tactical and grounded feel instead of just leaping from place to place like a maniac. I've also added in a few fun features such as a custom origin rich presence and turning the frontend from a bright blinding white to a nice blue to purple fade. But thats only scratching the surface.




This mod reworks the AI to make them as smart as you can possibly make them! Lets start out simple with some AI weapon changes. I swapped out the DLT19 for the RT97C for the rebels and RT97C to the DLT19 for the imperials, I also made it to where imperial jump troopers used DLT19's. I also replaced the EE3 with the SE-14C and CA-87 with the EE4 and increased the range of AI snipers. Now lets get into there brand new movement. Now the AI can properly sprint instead of having to run for 5 minutes then be able to sprint. I also made it to where AI decide there positioning in a battle based on themselves, squads, and the enemy which allows them to make advanced decisions instead of just standing there shooting you in the face. They will also now lay suppressive fire on you and your allies and try to flush you out of your cover. They also don't just instantly go for you the second you peak your head out and instead keep on fighting with the enemy AI until you intervene. The rebel and imperial AI now act with completely different tactics too! The rebel AI will try to move in in sudden raids and try to force you out of the uplinks area, while the imperials relentlessly move in packs wiping out any enemies they see. The vehicle AI are improved as well! AT ATs now have farther range and will fire upon both you and ally AI more often. Viper Probe droids also try to reposition more to make them act more similar to how they do in the movies.





There are many weapon improvements in this mod to make the game feel better and more importantly fun too! Lets start off with the DH17 and the E11, the DH17 I made into a semi auto rifle as seen in ANH and the E11 into a semi auto as well. I buffed the T21 and added some smoke FX to the blaster bolt as well as increasing the rate of fire for the DLT19 while decreasing the rate of fire for the RT97C to be accurate to the mando. For the Decks I swapped the Jump Pack with the R5D4 droid, Viper Probe Droid, Anti Vehicle Turret, or an Anti Infantry turret, and added in traits. There's also alot more I did for you to find yourself!





I changed a good amount of things revolving around the tokens, many of which make the game much funner to play and make combat much more interesting. First, I removed things like the Anti Infantry turret because they were introduced into the decks, in replacement for them however are the jetpacks, which are now one time use. I also made it to where you can randomly get your token slot filled on kill.






There are a good amount of smaller things in this mod that I thought I might as well mention. First of which being the custom Rich Presence for origin.


I also did bloom improvements on every map, and will more then likely do further lighting improvements in the future. The stormtrooper pauldron is also changed to be accurate to the mando. I also added a MP blocker to both help with cheaters using this mod to gain an advantage and people unknowingly trying to enter MP.
