(must be done everytime you want to play the game with mods) 8) Navigate to "C:\Program Files" and search "EA Games" 9) right click folder, open propeties 10) uncheck "wirte protection" 11) go to "sharing" in top bar open the extended sharing option and grant "full access" to "everyone" 12) go to "security" in top bar and click "edit", for every instance/user tick all boxes with for allow 13) apply, safe and close propeties 14) open up Frosty and select SW BF 2015 again 15) select Mod, apply and launc 15) optional: select "platform launching" EADesktop in FrostyPropeties 16) oprional: block SW BF II in Advanced Firewall Settings from outgoing internet traffic (so you do not accidently go online with mods enabled - avoid a ban)
Good mod thank you, it works with latest version of swbf1 and FrostyModManager_v1.0.2b. My question is, i want to enable this mod with latest frosty1061 but it doesnt work, i see in frosty102b which files have been modified:
Yeah no joy for me either. Used 3 versions of Frosty (latest didn't recognise mod, v1.0.5.9 & the v1.0.2b one strangermoon provides did). Using two wireless Xbox controllers, so should work from there, but no button appears in the training / co-op maps menu :/

WORKS!!! Worked on 04.11.2022 with all latest Origin & BF 2015 updates installed. --> this mod --> Mod Manager v1.0.2b
First attempts had the problem, that "launch" within FrostyModManager would only start Origin and not the game.
Fix: I dont know how exactly, but this worked for me:
0. disconnect you pc from the internet and open Origin (Offline Mode) 1. put the contents of the downloaded folder "FrostyModManager_v1.0.2b" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\STAR WARS Battlefront" (or accordingly) 2. start FrostyModManager --> add the mod --> apply the mod --> click "launch" 3. get my error (only Origin opens/starts, BF 2015 wont launch) 4. close frostymodmanager 5. set FrostyModManager to run in Windows 8 Compability Mode
now the magic (little complicated)
6. I have also got BF 2 2017 (!) (Origin) installed and working with its SplitscreenMod and FrostyModManager v1.0.6 Beta 5 If you try to use that Frosty version on the BF 2015, there will be an error (Mod not supported) - dont do that.
BUT! If you select BF 2015 in that new version of Frosty and click "launch" game (BF 2015) WITHOUT any mods, it starts the game and creates some more files in the other Frosty version installation (v1.0.2b)
after you have started BF 2015 through the new version of frosty, close the game and the new frosty. Now try launching it again through the old version of frosty, worked for me, got the "enter splitscreen" button
Does this still work? I don't see the split screen button in the missions.
I tried: - new frosty - old frosty from strangermoons comment (needs to run as admin I guess) - xbox wired + xbox bluetooth controller - same controllers, but both with mapped xinput1_4.dll in battlefront folder - xfce 4, but it was really confusing XD
Hello (again) so I now am able to use the split-screen mod but now I'm having trouble getting my second controller to work its a Nintendo pro controller, I have set up and used x360ce so that the pro controller can be used and recognized but still to no avail only my Xbox one controller works. I have renamed the file to xinput1_4.dll and I have told it to save to the star wars battlefront.exe and then still no reaction. I've tried everything that I can think of but nothing seems to be affecting it.
