Every time I look at this mod I can't help but think of overrain the Age of empires in 3d mod and a part of my brain explodes with "use this mod and require this game and the battlegrounds and do the same thing, RTS meets FPS in a fest of retro gaming joy!!!"

Hey man please tell me what age of empires in 3d mod you are referring to? I've googled " over-rain the Age of empires in 3d mod" and found nothing! Sounds cool.
All OG mods for BF1 do not work with the classic collection as they use some other version of the programming language. I nor has anyone else been able to successfully convert any BF1 mod to the classic collection as far as I am aware.
Yeah its unfortunate they had to mess with the LUA files. At least we still got OG SWBF lol. Did you upload the source/asset files for this mod anywhere? Would love to edit some ODF's for heroes on the SWBF2 maps. Thanks.
This seems infeasible. but I was wondering if the game engine would allow for light-saber deflection to be turned off when a hero is actively attacking? to give one an opportunity to more easily kill enemy heroes or to get killed more easily. I keep getting over 100 kills with the hero so was just curious.
as I'm assuming the above is not very likely, alternatively, could the heroes be set to not respawn?
and the last thing I promise, I have noticed that when there are 2 enemy tickets left there are always only two enemies left on the board, is it possible to apply this to the player's team as well? I would love to be the last man standing against 6 enemies and try to scrape through to victory (without worrying about some bot getting killed and removing the ticket), that would be great fun.

In response to your request about lightsaber deflection being turned off while attacking, I don't think this is possible.. at least not with the tools I currently have for modding/coding in the game. In terms of making the heroes more killable, I had uploaded an updated version of the mod a few weeks ago. I lowered the hero's health significantly for the killable Jedi version of the mod. If you have already downloaded this most recent version, try to play on hard mode. I coded the game to adjust the AI difficulty for both teams to be very difficult and equal to each other compared to the default Hard mode. Not sure if this will be helpful for your issue here.
For your request about not having heroes respawn, try playing without instant action heroes turned on or play in galactic assault and story mode. Not sure which version of my mod you have downloaded, but I originally had an issue where AI would not target the enemy player if there wasn't another hero present on the player's team. This error was fixed. If you play without instant action heroes turned on, or if you play a story mission/galactic assault mission where YOUR team does not have the Jedi bonus activated, your Jedi will not respawn when your team is losing and hits the specified threshold. Also, this prevents there being an extra NPC being on the battle when you have only 1 ticket left. That way you can be your Jedi, and the only character on your team, fighting off the remaining NPCs. The Jedi respawning and an extra NPC being spawned in afterwards was hardcoded in the game and I don't think I have the tools to access this. I can try and look through the game files and see if I notice anything that I can do to fulfill that request.

Mod is great. But, since you increased the number of reinforments up 300, it's impossible to win maps like Geonosis as clones. Is there a way to decrease it?
never mind. i was able to win by finding exploit on fuel tanks and destroyed it as a mace. But i have other question tho. Is there any way to add special abilities to jedi/sith like hidden jetpack to compensate for their slow movement? (saw it on other jedi mods).
