If you want to use the sheet, tick the checkbox where indicated so others don't change your settings. When you have finished please uncheck the checkbox.

1. In the Player Response cell add a short comment, e.g. Space set 1. When you press the activation key in game this comment will be "spoken" by your ship or character

2. In the Key to Activate cell, enter the key you would like to use to activate the keybind once you are logged into the game, e.g. F7. Note if you use a key that is already used for something else it will be overwritten.

3. Select up to 10 visual effects to add to the keybind. You may choose more but it may not work, this depends on the length of the keybind as there is a limit to how long a keybind can be.

4. Select the large Keybind cell and press the control key and the letter c to copy to your clipboard. Then open Notepad and press control and the v key to paste into notepad.

5. Follow the remaining instructions in our tutorial page here

6. To include more visual effects make a second keybind with a different activation key and a different player response, e.g. Space Set 2 and F8. A third set could be Ground Set 1 and F9. It is not known if there is a limit to how many keybinds can be used.

Persistance: The bind files are persistent across maps, however if you change characters you will need to run the load_bind_file again, you do this each time you change characters. It is then saved server side and the next time you login all you have to do is hit your activation keys. So in summary, load it one time on each character.

Finally, if you discover any more codes for visual effects you would like adding to the tool, please send them to [email protected]
