Replaces Discovery warp in/out sounds with JJ-verse sounds. I made this years ago because I don't really like the Disco warp sounds, but I never got around to releasing it. Warp in is taken from Star Trek '09 when the Enterprise arrives at Titan, I think the warp out was taken from the end of Into Darkness but I don't remember for sure (like I said it's been a while, lol). Note that the pre-warp out charge sound is separate and applies to all factions, the one I'm using may have been modded as well so you might hear that in the demo (I modded the main warp years ago as well with a different sound), but that is not included in this mod.
If anyone has clean audio of the warp out from the end of Star Trek: Beyond please post a link in the 'Posts' section, as I would be interested in trying that out in-game.
To install:
1) unzip 'Kelvin Warp for Disco.zip'
2) Within 'Kelvin Warp for Disco.zip' you will find a folder named localdata, copy it and paste it in "...Star Trek Online\Live\"
3) The end result should look something like this: "...Star Trek Online\Live\localdata\sound\win32\M_P_Player_Space_Discovery.fsb"
This does not modify any actual game files because STO supports override functionality using the "localdata" folder, so this SHOULD be safe, however it IS a bit of a gray area so use at your own risk. As far as I know there have not been any official statements made about whether this type of thing is OK or not, but if I find one I will update this description immediately.
