I quite like the DISCO and Terran pulse phasers - very Venator Star Destroyer - probably do a version that sounds like that someday :P
Still, they're very quiet - not nearly pew pew pew enough - so, I rustled up some quality source files and slapped together a new version that sounds like the famous pulse cannons used by the Defiant
Works for the integrity, emitter-linked, sensor-linked, resilience-linked, targeting-linked and focusing-linked variants of the DISCO and Terran pulse phasers - both the cannon and the beam versions
Installation:
1: Open your Star Trek Online folder
2: Open the folder marked Star Trek Online (inside the Star Trek Online folder - don't blame me, blame Cryptic)
3: Open the Live folder
4: Open the Localdata folder
5: Drag and drop zip contents into folder
6: Operation complete - load up your game and play
I have no way to record this in game - but I'll go ahead and link a youtube video where you can hear what the phasers are supposed to sound like.
