VSN is Various Scorpion Nerfs.
This is a collection of modpacks that aim to nerf the Scorpion Bug in
various ways, many of which may not be compatible with eachother so be
sure to read what each modpack does and what's compatible with what. These should be the only nerfs you need to make Scorpion Bugs no longer game changing.
The list will be expanded upon more and more.
Let's make this definitive! If you'd like to upload your own Scorpion
Bug-only nerfs, isn't convenient we have them all in one place?


Simple Scorpion Nerf
This nerfs the Scorpion Bug in the most simple way and I personally find it
most definitive: Instead of shooting a burst of 5 lasers, they simply
shoot 1. No other parameters have been changed. They're now definitely a
threat but they aren't the game-ending threat they used to be. They
exist more as tanks now.

Scorpion Damage Nerf
This modpack modifies their damage output to almost half of what they do.
This is not compatible with Simple Scorpion Nerf. You can make it
compatible yourself, though, in FUM if you know what you're doing. No
other parameters have been changed. If you like them shooting blasts at
your units but don't like that they can take down Marauders almost
instantly then this is for you.

Grenadiers Replace Scorpion Bugs
This modpack is simple: It replaces Scorpion Bugs with Grenadier Bugs and
exists more as a bonus. I personally don't recommend to REMOVE the
awesome unit but if you simply can't stand to come face to face, nerfed
or not, with a Scorpion Bug then they will spawn only as Grenadiers
instead and your game will lack Scorpion Bugs entirely using this. If
you use this, no other Scorpion Bug Nerf will have any effect in-game.
