About this mod

Upscaled textures, new fonts, improved VFX, enhanced UI, gameplay tweaks, 3 brand new weapon sets, 4 new equipment items, and much more to give SPG2 a fresh look and feel while keeping the gameplay balanced.

- Textures upscaled by 4x for most 3D models including ships, stations, asteroids, scenery, planets, skyboxes and more
- New Fonts - Agency FB & Conthrax - rendered in high resolution 2048x2048 for better scaling, text placement corrected for menus, HUD, etc
- UI/HUD/Menus streamlined and new colors, new icons with color highlighting, new cursor, custom loading screens

- 3 brand new weapon sets with custom turret models and effects, available to you and NPC ships
-Broadside Railgun - high damage, high energy use, long range, low fire rate
-Tempest Plasma - low/medium damage, moderate energy use, short range, high fire rate
-Carver Laser - high damage to hull, high energy use, short range

- 4 New Equipment Items with custom VFX and sounds added to game
- The Variable T-Drive has 3 levels of jump factor determined by your ship's speed when activated. Recharges automatically on station anchor. Charge Capacity increases at lvl 15, 30 & 50, Jump Factors unlock at lvl 25 & 55.

- Decoy Flares - These flares scramble the targeting systems on incoming Heavy Weapons - +85% Chance to dodge Heavy Weapons, +10% Evasion for 15 seconds.

- General Quarters - Activate your ship's General Quarters alert. All crew ordered to action stations, prepares ship for combat - +40% System Hitpoins, +15% Maneuverability, +10% Hull HP & Critical Chance for 5 min.

- Distress Beacon - (Sold on Planets) The Distress Beacon transmits an emergency distress signal to the local area. Any ships responding to a distress signal are paid a commission by local authorities, so you never know who might show up...

- Ships have +25% energy, 2x speed, 2x cargo space, 2x heavy weapon ammo
- Light Weapons have 2x range, +150m/s projectile speed, -25% energy usage
- Heavy Weapons have 1.5x projectile speed and 2x projectile range/lifetime
- Class Skills have drastically shortened cooldowns to make skill system more about energy management
- New Perks - most Perks have been replaced with more exciting alternatives
- Added Hangars to Cruiser class ships and above, increased Fighter fuel capacity by 1.5x
- Trading Commodities value increased by 1.5x, Harvestable Gas value increased by 2.5x
- Experience needed per level increased by 15%
- Riftways pull force reduced from 10 to 2

**Please read and follow install instructions below** :

Download the latest Revisual 1.3 mod and use the Mod Manager to uninstall/delete all previous versions!
There is now a GRAPHICS ONLY version of the mod available for download that contains no gameplay changes for anyone wanting to play the vanilla game.

Step 1 : Reshade
Reshade will correct some color banding and blurriness, not required but HIGHLY recommended for the best experience!
Extract the included file RevisualMod_ReShade.ini to *\Starpoint Gemini 2
Visit https://reshade.me/ and download the lastest version.
Install Reshade to your SPG2 directory using the Revisual preset.

Step 2 : Install Mod

Extract Revisual.sgm file to *\Starpoint Gemini 2\Mods
Open the SPG2ModManager.exe in your Starpoint Gemini 2 main folder.
In the mod list, select the Revisual mod and click the Install Mod button.
Check the box to activate mod and move Revisual to #1 in the mod list.

Step 3 : ONLY REQUIRED FOR PLAYING WITH DLC - Install DLC Patches
Extract RevisualAETHERA.sgm, RevisualORIGINS.sgm and RevisualTITANS.sgm files to *\Starpoint Gemini 2\Mods
Open the SPG2ModManager.exe in your Starpoint Gemini 2 main folder.
In the mod list, select the Revisual DLC Patch you wish to use and click the Install Mod button.
Check the box to activate Revisual DLC Patch.
Ensure the Revisual DLC Patch is set to #1 in the mod order and main Revisual mod is #2
**Only use 1 Revisual DLC Patch at once - do not have multiple versions active**
*If you wish to play a different DLC, make sure to switch to the correct Revisual DLC Patch*

Step 4 : Configure Advanced Video Options

Launch the game and configure your video options as normal.
Once finished, exit the game and open *\Starpoint Gemini 2\StarpointGemini2Configuration.cfg using any text editor.
Find these lines in your file and replace with the values shown here:

Save the changes and close the file.

Step 5 : PLAY!

Other mods are that change ships, weapons, visuals, etc are likely to cause conflicts/issues and should probably be disabled.

Known Issues
-PTE effect on NPC ships starts flickering around 1400m distance from player
-Speed Booster VFX are missing - result of new equipment being added - no fix found so far
-thx to user ulaan12 for pointing out an issue in version 1 release
