Amazing mod as always! Loving the new feature where I can stay seated when autopilot engages!
I am running into an issue when going to enable Supercruise, I remove all pips from shields, then add a pip or two to the grav drive. The Supercruise begins to wind up and within 3 seconds, two pips go into shield automatically and Supercruise disables itself.
If I don't use a shield module on my ship at all, Supercruise works, but if I have a Shield module, the shields will auto re-enable after turning them off and putting pips in grav drive. Is anyone else running into this?

Reality, everything is smooth so far. Just one thing: I noticed that every time I load a save, the Ship Remote vanishes from my inventory. Then, I need to enter my ship to receive the Ship Remote again. I also noticed that every time I load a save, I get a notification that the Astrogate is reloading. Is this normal?

Im not sure why, but with Sara Morgan as my crew mate, I'm not able to use the Autopilot, it just jumps me into systems normally. But when I remove Sarah from my crew list I can use auto pilot just fine. Im on Beta version 4.0.5.
I confirm that removing Sarah as crew resolved my problem too using the starmap in 3.6.1 (as i dont have starmap option in 4.0.5). Now it is using autopilot from system to system.
Thank you! The latest update seems to have fixed the grave jump issue. I've set it on the default settings where it will auto-pilot when you grav jump, but it doesn't seem to load into the cell where you get scanned or encounter NPC's etc. It seems to spawn me way outside orbit, so I end up missing encounters/dogfights. Is this intentional? Or is there something I'm supposed to do to enable that?
And also the landing feature, how's that supposed to work exactly? I have a landing spot selected on the HUD, then I enable supercruise and head to that spot, whilst slightly moving my ship to align with the marker, but nothing happens as I get closer, I just go "into" the planet.
1. This is normal. You can turn on the "load into orbit locations" gameplay option to have a chance at loading into a random encounter, but it will not load any of the settlement orbits that you would find on planets like Jemison, Akila, etc. I have not looked into making the settlement orbits work yet.
2. It should load you into the landing area once you get within 100KM. If it is still not working please let me know.
Thanks, makes sense. Got some time to try it out again, and got it to work! It doesn't seem to read mission markers provided by other quests/missions, but as soon as a "Land" destination is set, a new mission for Ship HUD pops up, and I had to make that as my active mission/marker for it to work. All is gut.
It lets you choose a new or existing landing site from a menu and then marks an objective on the planet for you to fly to with supercruise. Once your close enough it will automatically load you into your selected landing site. It's purely for immersion.
Hmm. Cool. I recall requesting this some time ago. I’ve been doing this manually. Flying at Supercruise 3 from orbit down to the surface and then invoking the landing when im close to the marker in the HUD. I’ll have to give this a try. What SC speed does this use?
Never had the mod working for interstellar travel nor in 3.6.1 nor in the différent 4 version beta. (I probably sent 6 hours by unistalling reinstalling the différent versions, trying every parameters from the mod)
But i have a doubt as it is not mentionned in pre requisite mod, but after discussing with chatgpt that it needs to have cassiopea mod installed. I tried to check but cassiopea is not working anymore for now, so is it the case that you need this mod ? Travelling between planets without the mod works without problem, travelling to other planet in other system works without problem, but as you need to go before to the system to add the system to favorite, it breaks immersion for me.
Cassiopeia isn't required. In the latest beta version, you can autopilot to other systems without the use of favorites by adjusting the "Grav Jump Behavior" gameplay option to the "Autopilot" setting, and then grav jumping using the StarMap or the HUD while you're sitting in the pilot seat.
Tried with latest beta version and starting a new game. But the only thing i see when i select set autopilot destination is favorites and current star system. Note that i play on steam deck in case it could play but i was able to use the mod to travel between star system using favorites
Just want to let you know. Starfield is literally UNPLAYABLE without this mod!
I love this mod so much I refuse to play it if I can’t use this mod. Being able to manually pilot is one thing, but also being able to let the ship autopilot, so you can walk around your ship, talk to companions and attend to your jobs onboard. Makes the game feel more alive.
To the mod author…. This mod reminds me a little of elite with you using lingo like ‘supercruise’ etc
Any plans of adding interdictions? I imagine it could be something as simple as stopping the autopilot and displaying a warning you habe been interdicted and you cannot boost away until you kill the ships that spawned or flee.
I have no idea how hard this would be to implement but I think it would be really cool because it would give you that sense of danger as you explore, like you get as if you were loading into the cells.
Eitherway, love your mod. The day this mod gets discontinued is the day I ubinstall Starfield. Or…roll back any updates. God bless, thank you for this amazing mod.

- Added a new "land" feature to the controls menu to simulate manually flying down to the planets surface for increased immersion.

Interdictions are probably possible during autopilot but would require a loading screen, which I try to avoid as much as possible.
