After completing the companion quests a gazillion times, I decided I'd rather just skip them.

You will be prompted with a few decisions when her quest starts. After making the selections, wait for a bit as the quest automatically goes through various stages. Once you are at the stage where you are to accompany her to the lodge, travel there and speak to her in her room to finish the quest.

Barrett

Barrett's quest is a mess. A huge mess... with 100s of stages and they are not in order. So you do not get any choices here. It will complete with the best possible outcome. You will also get your paycheck. Once you get to the final stage, talk to Barrett to finish the quest. This mod also fixes a bug with Barrett's "Breach of Contract" quest. There is a property on "Breach of Contract" that was pointed to itself, but should have been pointing to his companion quest instead. This allows different outcomes for his quest depending on how much evidence you find and who is the character witness for him. 

Sam

You will be prompted to choose what Lillian's involvement with Cora will be. Wait for the stages to be completed until the final stage which directs you to Akila City for the final talk with him.

Sarah

I may eventually update it to let you choose, but for now this quest will complete with Sona going to New Atlantis. Wait for the stages to be completed until the final stage which directs you to meet Sarah at the Waterfall for the final talk with her.

NOTES

  • This is still a work in progress. It works as is but the script can definitely use some optimization.
  • Your companion may disappear. Don't worry about it. They will be at your side again when you travel to where you need to go for the final conversation with them.
  • It only takes a few seconds to get the quests to the final stage, but the UI is sloooowww.... so you will see objectives being completed for quite some time, but if you look at your mission log you will see that the quest is actually at the final marker. This is most notable with Sarah's quest. I plan to work on optimizing the script in the future as some of the stages that are being set can probably be skipped.
  • Some objectives will not show as complete until the final talk with your companion. 
  • When skipping a quest, you may get locked into a really awkward staring contest with your companion. Just go with it. They will eventually get tired of staring at you and you will be able to move again.
  • Save your game right before you speak to your companion to start their quest. While I have tested this mod and haven't had any issues myself, setting stages on quests can sometimes do weird things. So save first so you can go back to that save should the quest not complete all but the final stage like it should.
  • You do not have to skip the quest. You will be asked if you want to or not when their quest starts.
