Adds the ability to change the color of all laser sight beams, including versions with dots, versions that direct your shots and the option to disable the beam entirely.

Despite the array of different laser beam colors available in the base game (including an entirely unused color), there's no way to pick which color you want, even if it doesn't really fit the look you're going for. On top of that, there are laser dots made for each color, but ingame only the blue and green are used for the Mag weapons.
But now with this mod, there's now the option! For any weapon that can take a laser sight, you can change how the laser beam appears. You can just change the color of the laser beam, you can choose an option that includes a dot or is just a dot, or you can disable the laser beam entirely! There's also Aimed versions of each one, which disables the reticle and makes it so your shots are aimed using the laser instead. There's much more flexibility in how you want lasers on weapons to work now.
The available options are as follows:
- No Laser
- Amber
- Blue
- Cyan
- Green
- Purple (previously unused!)
- Red
- Yellow
The No Laser option doesn't remove any of the benefits the laser sight adds, it simply disables the visuals of the beam. This works with the Mag weapons too, and a reticle is enabled for those weapons to make them usable. However, when aiming down sights, some of the Mag weapons are difficult to use, as their designs can means there's nothing to help guide your shots without the laser beams. But if a separate mod does add scopes/sights to the Mag weapons, then the lasers have been set up to support that.
Additionally, to make them more consistent with other Mag weapons, the MagSniper and MagStorm have both been changed to have a green laser beam by default. There's also an optional plugin in the download to turn the default laser mod for the Mag weapons into proper Laser Sights. This also serves as a compatibility patch for my Weapon Mod Fixes, but that isn't required to use the optional plugin. If you use my More Recon Laser Sights, then just load that mod after all of the plugins from this mod.
Within the Gameplay Options menu, there's an option to disable either the Aimed or Normal lasers, if you only want to use one style, and options to disable the different types of laser beams (Dot, Laser, Laser with Dot, No Laser), with the ability to keep them enabled on Mag weapons, but disabled on all others.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the Laser Beam category will show up even when you don't have a laser sight installed. I'm not currently aware of a way to avoid this, but this does mean that for certain weapons with models that have the laser sight built in by default, you will be able to have a visible laser beam on the weapon without installing a laser sight mod, but it won't offer any stat improvements.
