This mod adds standalone tactical versions of the "Armored" UC Marine Spacesuits.
Three different configurations with different weapon types in mind. Rifleman, Heavy Weapons, and a Breacher configuration are available. (Refer to photos for references) Each configuration is available for all five variations of the Armored UC Marine Spacesuits:
-UC Wardog
-UC Anti-Xeno
-UC Urbanwar
-UC Security Star-Law
-UC Sec-Def Assault
How to obtain:
Can be purchased at UC Distribution in New Atlantis. You may need to rest/wait to refresh the inventory, but they are all there of varying quality.
How to install:
-Download and install via a Mod-Manager like Vortex. Or manually extract to your game directory.
Requirements:
-It uses an ESM so you need Plugins.txt Enabler at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com).
Optional Files:
-An optional file for use with the UC Vanguard Armory at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) has been made. You must have that mod installed for it to function in addition to my main file. Purchasable at UC Distribution as well.
Recommended mods:
-I recommend UC Surplus Stores Expanded - Spacesuits and Uniforms at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) as it will add the armored helmets and backpacks to other stores to complete the outfit. If you plan on using my optional file for support with UC Vanguard Armory than it will actually be a requirement.
Known issues:
- Male version might see some minor clipping with certain body sizes or at certain extreme angles. Anything I found is so minimal I am not bothered by it. It's no more than the default clipping you already get in this game with spacesuits. Female version has slightly more of this primarily due to the angles and curvature of the female body. However, it is still negligible.
Compatibility:
-If you use any mod that edits the meshes of the UC marine Space Suits, or possibly ones that edit body morphs you will get issues. I have NO intentions of making compatibility patches for these types of mods.
-Additionally, any mod that alters the inventory of the UC Distribution store could have conflicts and may affect your ability to find the suits in the store inventory.
-However, any mod that retextures the Space Suits will be fine.
