New Photomode Textures
What this?More or less a "Proof of Concept" Mod to add 3 new Textures to the Photo Mode, to expand the concept of "Field Observation Notes". The new textures are primarily added to support the Map Helper's codex journal section.
How to install?
We still need the Plugins.txt enabler.
With Mod Managers it should be simple drag&drop. With manual install, the plugin name is:
*NPT_NewPhotoTextures.esm
How was it done?
The textures are basically the same as vanilla, only the "Other" marking has been edited to show "Flora, Fauna and Mineral". I had to edit the photo mode formlist to import them. I'm aware of script injection, but I'm also a lazy bum. You're welcome!
If you want to have a quick "tutorial" how to utilize Gimp to work with BC7 formated textures, go here and then there. Notice where it specifically mentions "slashes". It took a while to figure why Gimp wasn't acting cool with the BC7 format, but that was the hardest part.
