About this mod

Extends the quality tiers of weapons, from 4 possible quality types to 28.
Also adds quality tiers to melee weapons.

Permissions and credits
For a game that's designed to go on indefinitely, it sure gets repetitive after a certain level. Hell at level 75 I went through Unity and went and go the same armor I had in the previous universe.

This is the first in a series of mod I'll be releasing to extend the variety of weapons and armor found, in an attempt to keep the game flavorful.

GENERAL FEATURES
  • The leveled lists have been extended to the maximum level (255), meaning weapons will continue to grow stronger even at the highest levels.
  • Weapons will gradually grow stronger as you level, rather than a gun going from 24 to 48 damage in one tier.
  • Each weapon has its own multiplier per quality, rather than a flat boost across all guns.
  • Each weapon has a unique leveled list, so at level 50 you won't suddenly start seeing all guns spawn as the same tier.
  • The vanilla theme has been preserved, weapons that were designed to max out at earlier levels will still max out, but they do so closer to level 200 rather than level 20.
MELEE WEAPONS
  • Melee weapons have unique prefixes for their quality, a "calibrated" knife didn't make much sense to me. 
  • Based on your characters level, you can increase the quality of Mk I melee weapons at the weapons workbench. There are 3 new research projects that will allow you to modify higher quality levels.

BUG FIXES
  • Fixes error in the vanilla tables - these were a mess, some of the higher tier weapons had lower damage bonuses, lower value, higher-quality items with no stat changes. For example, tier 2 Beowulfs value is increased by 83%, tier 3 is increased by 30%, tier 4 is 38%.
  • Whether or not there was some level of logic behind this is unknown, but doesn't make any sense to me. I believe they were errors and all were fixed as I made the mod.




Installation
1. Use mod manager to install normally or manually extract the plugin to your mod directory
2. Add "*WeaponTiers.esm" without quotes to your plugins.txt

Compatibility
-No gun records were edits, so mods that modify mods and the like on guns will be compatible.
-Melee weapons records were edited, so mods that directly modify melee weapons will conflict.
