Alien creatures now have significant size-scaling. Scaling is done by hand.
Enemies that make sense to be larger, like Alpha Apex Predators and story bosses, are as large as possible. Herbivores, herds, and pack animals are less noticeably increased, but variety is massively increased across the board.

Big aliens! And regular sized ones!
Some modest tweaks to alien creature speed, AI aggressiveness, and speed.
But aliens are kept at vanilla levels.
This is pretty much just size scaling and some minor behavior and speed improvements for aliens.
This was created because I truly enjoy my Royal Aliens mod, but that includes level scaling, which not every player might want.
I wanted this to be a mod you could install from level 1 even if you were perfectly happy with the vanilla gameplay, so I created this version.
I added NPC height variation toolkit to my load order and saw just how many NPCs it could rescale even before it conflicted with my leveled lists.
I realized that unlike my mods, anyone could install it, even at level 1, and just get a better experience than Vanilla, and that there should be something similar for aliens.
As you level up and encounter the strongest versions of aliens, you will see a huge amount of size variety, now with Alpha Apex Predators scaling very close to the maximum size currently possible.
Some aliens can now spawn toward the maximum possible sizes before the hitboxes would stop working correctly.
Aliens gain modest bonus speed and some logical HP and damage resistance tweaks to those coded as "bosses", but no changes to damage dealt to players.

Load AFTER PEAK.
Forwards any AI changes PEAK made, but needs to be loaded second to keep size variation.
Load before any other mod that you add later that tweaks a specific alien record. Other mods will probably add level scaling (like Royal Aliens or Royal Terror) or other features.
Terromorphs are not nearly as large as Royal Terror. I consider this pretty Vanilla+ as long as you agree that the vanilla aliens are way too small and that bigger creatures just fit the world better and look cooler.
If down the line you want to swap to Royal Aliens, just load Royal Aliens toward the bottom of your load order. (Opposite rules apply for Royal Aliens, you want to load it late so you don't lose the leveling and other tweaks).
Suggested Alien Retex: HDTP
- HDTP - Actors - Quad and Bipeds 0.1
- HDTP - Actors - Critters and Crawlers 0.1.1
- HDTP - Actors - Swimmers 0.1
- These are MUCH better than the vanilla aliens and one of the most essential texture installs you can make IMHO. It will ensure aliens look crisp and clear even when they scale up significantly larger.
This just adds size scaling, bigger aliens because they look way cooler, and keeps some tweaks that I think are objectively better like increased movement speed and very tiny damage/survivability tweaks for some, as well as bonus 2x XP for Terrormorph kills.
This will be very close to vanilla apart from the size scaling. I would have removed these other features like increased speed or improved AI, but it felt silly to go out of my way (making this version was TEDIOUS), to make the game worse for others.
Created because I didn't want to become the anti-thesis of my own modding values by forcing everyone to play a certain way.
