About this mod
A simple .ESM that will double the capacity of your cargo transport ships. This is a MUST HAVE for large production chains.
- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
I've adjusted the vanilla files for both versions of the cargo link ships. Any mod that adjusts these same files will probably not be compatible. Load toward the end of you mod load order to make sure you get the benefits.
NOTES:
- This mod changes how much cargo the ships can transport per trip.
- This mod DOES NOT change the storage capacity of the Incoming/Outgoing containers attached to the pads.
- You may need to reload the cell after building the cargo link in order to see the changes. No idea why, but logging out then back in seems to take care of it.
Before you get started, make sure you have these lines in your StarfieldCustom.ini file:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
Installation Instructions:
1. (Easiest) Install with Mod Organizer 2/SFSE/Plugins.txt Enabler - Pretty straight forward but just make sure the "Data" folder is properly recognized/designated.
2. Manual Install - Just copy the mod's Data folder into your Starfield directory (where the .exe is located). Enable it to load using the sTestFile method.
3. Vortex - I don't use Vortex, but I'm told you can just drag and drop themod archive into the bottom of the "Mods" tab where it says "Drop Files" like you would with other mods.
4. Then, BUY ME A COFFEE because you are one of those rare and very cool mod-users. You think it's just the right thing to do to tip the mod authors that do the work of creating and maintaining mods that you use everyday for free...a standard waitress-level tip is always appreciated..no need to go overboard.
5. Then check out my other mods at the bottom of this page...cuz my mods are awesomesauce! You love it...you know ya do...go ahead...no one will see...go getcha some...
HCCL will most probably disable Achievements..like most mods. So if you don't want them disabled, take the appropriate steps before building an HCCL pad.
The scripts/.esm files I publish are working for me when I upload them and I do my best to let you know if there's bugs or fixes I'm still working on so read the FAQs and other important notes I leave for you. If you go in and start making changes to what I publish, I take NO RESPONSIBILITY for it. You changed it...you deal with the consequences of the decision. If you decide not to follow the directions I list, that's also not on me...following the directions is a very important part of the mod that makes it work the way I intended it. The instructions are as important as the scripts themselves.
I'm always very clear (maybe too clear) about what my mods do...I state the capabilities/features explicitly. If I didn't say it, don't assume it...and you're more than welcome to ask about it in the forums. I don't appreciate people who file bug reports on features I never said were supported. That happened recently and it chapped my a$$. If you want us mod authors to continue sharing our work with you...then be smart about using the bug reports function. I know I really do appreciate it when an actual bug gets brought to my attention so I can fix it if possible..but BS bug reports about things the mod didn't change, or conflicts with other mods, or features/functionality not stated as something the mod does will just irritate any mod author period. Those aren't bugs...or flaws with the mod.
OK..whew../end rant
Thanks for letting me vent some frustration for a minute and for checking out my mods!
