About this mod
Every day is your birthday in this Guardian Ship rework, interior and exterior! Fully reimagined with added lights and deco, a custom 4K handmade confetti paint, max glow and low glow option. Pinks, purples, chromes, techy textiles, and clubtastic vibe. It's probably insane-asylum worthy, but the custom paint work is fantastical to 11.

Here is a Mesh and Texture replacement for the Starborn Guardian ships with a dramatic change in feel and appearance. This whole creation is totally wild. Both the exterior and interior have had lots of tweaks performed to raise it up more toward a party / club vibe, but with the overall mood still very classy and refined. It is definitely not for everyone, but it is unique, fun, and wild.
All this was done by hand in NifSkope, Photoshop, and Paint.net, with fresh extracts from B.A.E.
Check out my Starry Night Editions for a glowy Starry FX vibe with similar improvements, or my Natural Natalie Edition using luxurious Old Earth materials, or Atlantis Annie Edition for an aquatic / New Atlantis vibe, or the Siren Sarah Edition with a "Siren of the Stars" vibe.

Changes performed:
Exterior:
- All exterior panels have been changed. The overall vibe is nightclub / party / glowy.
- Cockpit glass is changed to custom two-layer method of purple clear over chrome glass, so it has a gentle purple tint..
- Exterior glow is pink.
- Usage of unique materials found all throughout the game files, plus some body panels in a handmade 4K confetti "almost sparkle" paint created in Photoshop.
- Additional lighting circle planes have been added under the neck, with matching textured circle planes on top.
- Usage of pink glow on the rings and delicious pink-purple patern artificial materials.
- Hours of adjustments in x-y-z and scales to overcome vanilla clipping and flickering.
Interior:
- The interior is where the really good stuff happened. Every single part has been changed.
- Base flooring is soft white marble with the Astral Lounge circuit board overlay.
- Added club lighting fixtures and several art-deco wall fixtures.
- Metalwork has been changed drastically from the vanilla flat steel to variants of mirror chrome, chrome with a techy texture, and gently placed brushed aluminum.
- Some large panels also use my new 4k confetti "almost sparkle" paint work made in Photoshop.
- Leatherwork on the pilot seat is changed to a deliciously high-end sportscar diamond textile in pink.
- Pilot seat completely redone with these materials.
- Doors, docker hatch, and container hatches completely redone with these materials.
- Hours of adjustments in x-y-z and scales to overcome vanilla clipping and flickering.

Option: Low Glow: Exterior glow removed expect vanilla spaces, replaced with a good chrome or the confetti paint. Interior glow removed except for the three added club lights on purpose. Glows removed from pilot seat too. Replacements are either chrome or the paint confetti texture.

Install: use your favorite manager, the files should be set up to play nice. Or manually get the .zip, open it, and marry the Data folder inside with your existing Documents/My Games/Starfield/Data folder. Also, like other mods, you'll need the StarfieldCustom.ini file, you can get one here on Nexus if you don't have one.

Uninstall: use your choice of manager or manually delete:

Mix and Match: You can indeed mix and match assorted interiors and exteriors from my kits. Good news is most of the kits are like 1 Mb so you can try things out to your heart's content, this one is 15 Mb because of a 4K texture I made. If something breaks tragically, you can start it over with a fresh mod install ez.
You'd first install the mod with the interior you want, because the interior is like 5 parts. Then get the zip for the exterior you want, open that zip up and navigate to data/meshes/ships/starborn and copy the starbornshipext.nif file from the zip over to your
/My Games/Starfield/Data/meshes/ships/starborn/ and paste it to overwrite 1 file. So far this should generally work. When there's custom paint files used in /Textures/ though, it can also affect the exterior paint color and things could end up with wild and unintended color combos haha. So far, this mod and my Atlantis Annie Edition have custom made paint textures, it can get weird mix and matching those.

Problems: there are still a couple spots with troubled clipping and texture flickering, it is pretty clear that the devs never actually finished working on this ship before release. I now have over 40 hours working on the Guardian Ship, lots of that trying to fix the vanilla clipping and flickering, but some stuff still doesn't lay right. For the moment this is as good as it gets.
====
Suggested to get: Strongly suggest you get and use the .bat file here on Nexus to make the Starborn Guardian ship much less lame in power/usability, and also get the Decorate Starborn mod here on Nexus or use the console command spawn method to add a home decorator panel to the ship to add some crafting stations, seating, and beds.
