About this mod

Removes the boostpack to carry weapons on your back! A standalone mod using SniperNamedG's Gun Sling Boost Pack Replacer.

Permissions and credits
ADDS a new boostpack called the Gunsling that removes the boostpack and allows weapons to be carried on your back.

Uses SniperNamedG's Gun Sling Boost Pack Replacer.

- Works with any character type
- Some weapons may not sit properly or smaller weapons may not show up

-----V1.1: Changed in-game name, increased value, increased armor rating, added all damage resistances and increased their values, added all environmental resistances, lowered weight, and fixed issue with not being able to add modifications without it reverting back to its vanilla appearance.

-----V1.2: Added to Industrial Workbench as buildable item

For manual installation:

- First you will need Plugins.txt Enabler (either sfse version or asi loader)

- Then make sure you enable hidden items [ON YOUR COMPUTER NOT IN STARFIELD]

Which is located under: View (next to the sort dropdown menu), show >, hidden items

- Install with the instructions from the mod and then make sure you create a text file named Plugins.txt file in:
C://your username/appdata/local/starfield

- In your Plugins.txt file enter the name of the .esm file with an asterisk before it, it should look like this:

*GunSlingBoostPack.esm

- Drop my .esm file into the root data folder of your starfield install:
C://steam/steamapps/common/starfield/data

- Put meshes folder either into your Documents data folder "Documents/mygames/starfield/data"

OR

(Steam Version Only) If you use Baka's Disable My Games Folder "C://ProgramFiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/starfield/data"

For mod manager installation:

MO2: Just download as normal :)

Vortex:

- Put meshes folder either into your Documents data folder "Documents/mygames/starfield/data"

OR

(Steam Version Only) If you use Baka's Disable My Games Folder "C://ProgramFiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/starfield/data"

- The .esm file should be installed properly

-----To add the boostpack to your inventory-----

Go to Industrial Workbench and create item called "Gunsling" for x1 Adhesive

DO NOT
use the old method of adding sTestFile1-10blahblahblah.esp to your StarfieldCustoms.ini file;

This has a high potential to break your saves and is volatile & unpredictable

I have tested the boostpack thoroughly across multiple environments, inside and outside, but as always make a backup of your saves before using any new mods!

This should also work with any other mod.

Working on the next version which will have a vendor to purchase the boostpack from

Armor I'm using: Banshee

Massive thank you to ElminsterAU and the entire xEdit team
